This hotel exceeded my expectations. I’ve had to go to Bakersfield for work several times recently, I’ve tried various hotels and this one is the best by far. This will be our new go to hotel in Bakersfield and when we travel anywhere a Double Tree is available. Very clean, good amenities, balcony, pool, hot tub, gym, ambiance. Only issue was I couldn’t figure out how to work the shower so needed to take a bath but that’s probably a me problem but I wish it was simpler to use.

We stayed here on two separate occasions on the same trip, lovely clean room a good size, we reported the curtains not opening and closing properly the reception when we left the on the 1st stay, we were given the same room the 2nd stay a week later and the curtains were still not working properly, but different make much of a difference to the overall stay. We would recommend this hotel.

Lovely large clean airy room. Extra friendly welcome from the gentleman who checked us in. Asked me about my room preferences before allocating. Helpful advice. Great pool area and spa pool. The room was clean over all. There were some small but noticable juice stains from previous guests on the linen. I understand that times are tough & some items are used longer than before. But, it still needed to be addressed. The staff were very helpful and made the check in process very easy.
