Very cute B&B.Easy walk to the restaurants in the cute village. Staff were amazing, breakfast lovely and we enjoyed the funky vibe. They also had a nice spa area although we did not use that!
Washroom cleanliness unsatisfactory. Bed was ok. Kitchen/breakfast staff, excellent. This property needs to spend more time on General cleaning. A quarter roll of toilette paper left on the dispenser does never work for us. Everyone was friendly. All in all, a mixed bag.
What I enjoy about La Grande Maision is that it's quaint and unpretentious. The inn reminds me of visiting my grandparents. If you expect super mordern facilities, this is not the place for you but if you are interested in something typically quebecquois, great breakfast included, if you ski you can get packages with Le Massif (I only realized afterwards that we could have done that!). It was great to go skiing, being tired and cold to take advantage of the spa (sauna, cold shower and 2 different hot tubs). I also have a great massage. It was not our first time we stayed there and it won't be our last!

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Quirky room in an old hotel that is surprisingly comfortable. Fabulous staff. Good breakfast. We had to find a place at the last minute (the original hotel was closed) and the clerk moved not-yet-arrived guests around to give us a ground floor room. Two wingback chairs, a comfortable queen bed, and a small dresser filled the room because a small shower had been added to the half bath by enclosing the area in front of half the window with door's installed as walls, leaving the area above open to the room. But I would stay again as we loved the place and people!
La Grande Maison is a cozy place to come back to after a cold day of skiing: Warm up in the spa, have a massage if you want and the breakfasts are great too!
The property is quite charming and in a good location.
Enjoyed the two whirlpool baths and the cold shower. Nice soak after a long day. Also love the full breakfast. It is freshly made each morning.
The place needs a renovation. The beds are hard and uncomfortable and the pillows are totally awful they're like sleeping on a big piece of a plastic bag. If you like an old dilapidated building you might like this place.
