Amazing Stay!

Great place to stay! Starting from the staff that were really nice and welcoming. Perfect size room with small kitchen, and balcony to enjoy the beautiful view of Douro River. Breakfast is delicious and served in your room. I highly recommend to stay at Portovella Lodges and Bungalows when visiting this part of Douro Valley!

Absolutely beautiful location in the valley. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast is delicious and plentiful. Staff were lovely and very helpful, especially with confirming reservations for activities in the area. Highly recommend!

Beautiful property with amazing views

Beautiful property with breathtaking views at the west entrance to Duro valley . We stayed in the family suite with 2 full bathrooms and a small kitchen which was very convenient and large. Citrus trees on the property were blooming and the fresh scent was amazing. Fresh Breakfast was delivered to the unit. I highly recommend this place.

Beat hidden treasure in Douro Valley!

This was the most amazing find! It is absolutely beautiful, secluded,relaxing and the service is amazing! Would 110% recommend!

Very relaxing stay.

This property is really well managed and cared for. The view from the bungalow we stayed in was beautiful and made the stay very special. Breakfast is delivered daily and was very good. We ate in each evening, facilities worked well for this. Pool was really nice and clean and lots of lounging options.

This was a lovely, newer property, with a beautiful view of the river. Amenities were as reported - the pool was nice and the breakfast basket was really a treat. The staff was extremely nice and accommodating. Five of us were very comfortable in the large suite.

Very nice and modern accommodation, close to the river, you can see the river from your bed and balcony A super breakfast basket will be brought to your room. As there is no bar or breakfast room you will be on your own, not really a place to get in touch with other travelers. Next supermarket and restaurants are far away (20 minutes), there is no promenade with bars or a village center. However we enjoyed 2 nights relaxing on our own.

Dejligt nyt sted med fantastisk udsigt over floden. Fint stort værelse med altan og alt man behøver. Dejlig pool. Ikke mange restauranter i gåafstand. Men flere gode i køreafstand. God morgenmad. Servicen… den er absolut ikke værd at køre efter. Himmelvendte øjne, negative småkommentarer. Lang ventetid ved check in. Små irriterende ting, der ikke passer til stedet overhovedet
