A very nice place to stay. Our room was large and well kept with a beautiful view, the 24 hr laundry was very convenient, the pool was nice, and the staff were helpful and knowledgeable. It was also close to great restaurants and served as the ideal starting point for a drive up the Cabot trail.

I don’t know that I’ve stayed anywhere where every single staff member was so pleasant. We interacted with front desk, dinner and breakfast staff and met cleaning staff on the way out. Room was comfortable and spacious.

The location was excellent with views of the lake that were beautiful. Rooms were small but well appointed and comfortable and clean. Breakfast room was large and sunny. The breakfast though was inadequate for the additional cost of 18 Canadian dollars per person. Parking was convenient.

Our stay here was very nice as a start and end of the Cabot trail. Staff was very friendly with recommendations in Baddeck and sights in the trail to stop and see. Laundry was an asset We enjoyed the outdoor pool. Nice to swim after a day in the car
