We loved our stay here, the room was spacious, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast had hot breakfast as well ( eggs and sausage / bacon ) which made us happy. The location is very good, close to the Baddeck waterfront and Alexander Graham Bell National Historic site.

We had a lovely stay at the lodge, in one of the dog friendly rooms. The room was clean, and equipped with the essentials. The staff were friendly. The rooms are quite dated and could use some upgrades to the furnishings and pillows. We would stay again! Thank you.

The room was clean and had everything we needed. The front desk was very helpful, the location is terrific. The room had a porch that overlooked the lake. Was quiet and well taken care of... suggestion to management to fix the roadway at the bottom of the drive, but it was no big deal! Would go back there any time.

Bathroom shower tile was full of mold and window was broken. Bedroom was clean and fine. Would be nice to have regular cable tv. Had to use our own Netflix or prime which not everyone has. Breakfast was good. The door has big gaps around so doesn't feel very safe locked inside and the airconditioning unit was so loud you couldn't keep the room cool. But the staff are very friendly and hard working and the grounds and veiw are wonderful. Just could use a little more scrubbing.

One of the best breakfasts I had on this trip - simple but well planned. The room was cozy and the bathroom was clean. The floors were a bit cold so I wish they gave slippers. The only thing is it is amazingly close to nature. So close that there was a flock of birds outside the territory that was absolutely yelling for most of the night, kind of sounded like two car alarms going off at the same time. Bring ear plugs if you travel in breeding season 😅
