Staff was great and friendly. 5 minute walk to the river. A little too quiet for me but a beautiful area.

The hotel is in a lovely position, by the Vondelpark and in the museum quarter. The shower and bed were good, but otherwise the hotel, which had just been taken over by new owners, was in a very battered state. Hopefully, this will change with the much-needed refurbishment. Breakfast is not provided and the cafes around don't open until 9am.
