Front desk manager was very helpful and kind, room clean and comfortable. Very close to a great restaurant and within 39 minutes of Port Austin. Located between Meijer and Wal-Mart. Only issue would be a bigger sign at the road that would make it easier to find😁

It’s a great hotel in the perfect location for a great price! We didn’t use the pool or eat breakfast but both looked very nice. The only complaint I have is that the air conditioning unit was loud but I feel like that’s a common problem in most hotels. All in all, a great little place to stay. I’ll be back!

The staff at check-in were very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is an older property, but the room was clean, and it was clear that updates and maintenance have been made over time. The breakfast could use some improvement. Better presentation and organization would make a big difference, as the food appeared to be placed out without much attention to detail. I also noticed that the half-and-half was not refrigerated, which was concerning. Check-out was quick and convenient, with a plastic bin on the counter for guests to leave their room keys.

Bathroom floor tiles were badly cracked and I hurt my foot on it. Very strong smell of spicy home cooking when entering the hotel, not very pleasant. No coffee or breakfast available at 7.45am. Would not recommend or stay again.

Staff was polite and room was clean but room was dark with not enough lighting, and the bed pillows smelled sweaty. the pool was closed for “remodeling” just before we showed up though no mention of any “remodeling was made when we booked the room. Breakfast was simple continental cereal, and rolls. Price was just under $100 which was a good value for a night stay.

The staff was friendly. The beds are very firm. The bedding had stains on them and looked like they had not been cleaned. There is a strong old food odor which goes through the whole building. The breakfast quality was average. Did have fresh bananas and apples. For the price not a very good value. The kids did enjoy the pool which was warm. Great location and the restaurant that is attached is very good. Nice to have an attached place to eat.

We stayed here over the Fourth of July weekend because it was one of the few places available near Port Austin, and for that purpose it worked. The rooms definitely need updating, especially the carpet, which made the room feel worn. The first night there was a strong stale cigarette smell, although it noticeably improved by the second day. I’m not sure if it was because there was no smoking during our stay, but it was better after the first night. After we spent our first night there, I came across some older reviews mentioning pest and bedbug issues, which made me nervous. Thankfully, our room was completely fine and we didn’t experience any problems. The complimentary breakfast was actually quite good and exceeded our expectations. The TV also had a surprisingly good selection of channels. Noise levels were moderate—we could hear some banging from the room above, but with earplugs it wasn’t a major issue. Overall, we were grateful to find a place to stay close to Port Austin during a busy holiday weekend. That said, this isn’t the type of hotel where you’d want to spend much time relaxing in the room. It’s functional as a place to sleep while you explore the area, but it could really benefit from some updates and enforcement of no smoking policy.
