Great place to stay, staff stay on top of everything. Has 2 pools multiple dining areas outside and 1 indoor an outdoor bar. Food is decent I recommend changing it up and going to the town. They will call a taxi for you. Everyone has their own tub outside their room.

The hotel is super cute and welcoming. The staff is wonderful and helpful at all times, always caring about our experience in the hotel. It was my birthday and they decorated our room and gave us a bottle of sparkling. You cannot miss the private dinner experience. We had it on the bangalo, the food was amazing (order the catch of the day) and the vibes were immaculate. We will never forget that night! We truly loved our experience in Bacalar! The lake is so amazing to swim and hotel is close to the city center!

Our stay was fantastic in a room with a wonderful view of the Laguna. The property is like a little oasis, filled with plants, flowers, private areas for dining and a swimming pool overlooking the water. The chef is over the top, best food we have had in Mexico! Stunning stay

We had a great 2 night stay at Puerta del Cielo. From the moment we checked in the staff were so attentive, there were so many little details that meant a lot. We had several meals during our stay and everything we ate not only looked like art, but was outstanding. Luis the head chef was so helpful with tips of things to see and do and places to eat outside of the hotel.

El Cielo was such a wonderful place to visit Bacalar. Staff was very attentive. The view is amazing. breakfast was delicious and the drink cocktails were very good. The room view was partial lake view. The property grounds were so beautiful. Our room was comfortable and quiet

The staff was very accomadating and super friendly! We checked in a day late and let them know and they were waiting for us in the morning! Their greeting made us feel like celebrities! They also offered to credit me for missing my first night if we wanted to stay another night but we already had another reservation. After we left to our other destination(playa del carmen) we wishe we wouldve stayed another night!. All in all the place was beautiful & peacefule! Food was delicious as well! Would definately stay again! Dont hesitate on this property! Was conpletely worth it! Thank you Puerto del Cielo!
