The hotel is very beautiful, very modern. The architectural details are interesting but not always practical. For example, there are many steps that, on the one hand, are steep, on another hand, are shallow, making walking difficult even for healthy people. As my husband arrived with a recently broken leg, he had very limited chances to enjoy the outside. The view from our room was beautiful though. We met the chef and he is definitely talented but a better dining program would be welcome. With more interaction and (much) better choice of wines. The cocktails were rather good.

One of the nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed at the staff was really helpful. I like the fact that it’s a smaller property. My room had a beautiful phenomenal view. I like the fact that I was able to check out a kayak at no extra cost and it was available for whenever I needed it. I also really enjoyed the dock with the tanning buds. The food was also amazing.

This place has the most amazing view of Bacalar lagoon hands down out of the 3 other places we stayed at this one wins best view The staff are welcoming and very pleasant the only thing I didn’t consider was staying at such a luxurious hotel was the other guests we felt very uncomfortable around them not friendly at all
