Vacations Close To County Hall

Staff members very rude, they’ll mutter under their breath at you if you ask anything of them. We didn’t have a fridge in our room and politely requested one as we were there to run the marathon and needed a fridge. 2 days of asking no fridge each day the new members of staff had no idea about the fridge request. It seems very disjointed no one passes over any info. Have to keep explaining everyday about the same request. When we did speak to staff behind the counter one man was extremely rude muttering under his breath and pulling faces at us. Never experienced anything like it in my life. Especially considering the price point this hotel charges at the very least you’d expect attentive staff on hand. I finally got to speak to a manager who was lovely it’s a shame her staff are not on the same level. Very poor service. I think her name was Fatima. Lovely breakfast beds comfy that’s about it. Hotel needs lots of work it’s clean enough for a night or two but I wouldn’t spend your hard earned money on this place with staff who don’t care.

Very good location and very good value. Needs some renovation.

We stayed here for 3 nights to escape the heat of Budapest, the resort is beautiful and well looked after. There is very little we could fault, the only exceptions was a rude man working at the spa who made us feel like we were interrupting his peace, and the automatic 15% service charge added whenever ordering anything from the spa. We asked for an icecream which they took from a freeze in the back room and yes 15% service charge added. The food was lovely for breakfast, and the dinner was good too, though the service was a bit slow, especially when you have children with you. Would definitely come back again though!

I requested a balcony that had a nice view and the lady at reception was very kind to arrange it so I had an amazing view of the parliament building. Rooms are a good size, clean. It’s much quieter on the Buda side but there was a metro station very near by making it easy to get to the attractions on the Pest side. We will be back!
