The bathroom was good, the bed was comfortable but the room was a bit dated and despite a Dyson Cool fan the room was dreadfully hot and there was no ventilation in the bathroom.

Shame we're not local or will visit Wendover again anytime soon, as we'd stay here again, no hesitation. Great location right in the middle of the town. Secure carpark. Lovely room, great size, neat, clean, can't fault it. Very helpful manager and staff. Breakfast choice was great. Bar and all grounds kept clean and tidy and the whole place had a lovely 'at home' feeling - shame we couldn't stay longer! Thanks for the hospitality - highly recommend.

We stayed for a night at the Bel & Dragon in Wendover after a Chilterns walk along the Ridgeway from Princes Risborough. The pub was a lovely way to end the day - the room was very nice and we had a few drinks and great meal. It was the hottest day of the year, so understandably warm in the rooms, but there was a fan provided, which helped with the heat.

Excellent full English breakfast, loved the classical music on the radio when entering the room. Great evening food served. Loved the special touches, gin tipple and fresh milk for brews in the fridge. Loved it, would use again of staying in the area.

This is lovely hotel in the heart of Wendover. Lots of character. Our room was very well equipped, very comfy bed, hanging space and drawers, small fridge with complimentary milk and bottle of water, and even complimentary sloe gin! The bathroom was clean and shower was great. The room was quite warm but a fan was provided. The included breakfast had a buffet with fruit, yoghurt, croissants, meat, cheese etc, and a cooked breakfast was also available, which was great. There is lots of outside space with covered areas. We enjoyed our stay very much.

The only problem was that on the hottest weekend of the year the room did not have air conditioning. There was a Dyson fan which helped but it broke down on our second night but was replaced very quickly by a member of staff. The breakfast was excellent served by two young girls who couldn’t have been more helpful.
