Despite it being the middle of August, the place never felt busy and there were always a choice of sunbeds. Taxis were easy enough to get, but you couldn’t really walk anywhere so you may wish to consider a car if you want to get out and about every day. ”

“This was a basic but lovely apartment in a great area of Zakynthos. The two rooms and separate kitchen/seating area were perfect for our family, especially being on different sleep schedules as we got over our jetlag. It is a very short walk to the waterfront, where there is a lovely swimming beach complete with free umbrellas and loungers provided by the community. There are a number of nice tavernas and a couple of little gifts shops, making it a delightful and quiet destination even in the...
