The hotel is very good for the price you pay. Decent breakfast that is served late. Also great location. We did not hear anything from the resturant downstairs in our room. Bit thin walls so we could hear the neighboring room. Room a bit dated, especially the bathroom had some lose tiles

Location, location, location. This Hostal is centrally located with a magnificent position. Walkable distance to restaurants and bars, shopping and much more. The cathedral is only 70m away. I do have to mentioned that the is it not quiet place since the restaurant is opened till late and it does gets quite loud.

Great quality-price! The hotel is located in downtown Avila in a historical building. It does not have elevator. Breakfast is included, nice croissant and fresh toast with good coffee. Wifi works really well in rooms and public places.

We stayed for one night and I specifically asked for a double bed and when they saw myself and my wife (two women) arrive they obviously assumed that we were just friends and decided to put us in a room with two single beds. I went to ask how the assignation of rooms works and that I’d asked for a double room with a double bed (and paid extra for) and they told me they had no double rooms left although we were the first to check-in. There were various couples who’d arrived and checked in after us that I’m willing to bet received a double room! Absolutely disrespectful and frustrating. There was no possibility to put the beds together as they just slid apart and one was a different size and had a mattress as hard as a rock whilst the other sank when you lay on it. The cushions on the bed smelled like someone had rubbed their backside on them, and the shower was falling to bits. Wouldn’t stay here again if they paid me and we are so disappointed in the treatment when we’d specified that we wanted a double room with double bed. The advertisement said that the twin rooms were low availability, not the double rooms!!!

Es un Hostal que está en pleno casco histórico pegado a la muralla con lo cual no se puede esperar grandes lujos. Está algo descuidado y necesitaría una pequeña reforma y un cambio de mobiliario para hacerlo más atractivo.

Un sitio estupendo, ya fuimos el año pasado y hemos repetido. Hay que tener en cuenta que es un hostal pero está genial. En pleno centro, con vistas a la muralla. En el restaurante del propio establecimiento la comida es muy buena. Sin duda repetiremos. Una opción que combina ubicación, servicios, amabilidad, limpieza y precio.

Lo único bueno es la ubicación, el hostal necesita una gran reforma, habitación con desniveles, escalones, muebles viejisimos, la cama de matrimonio pegada a la pared por un lado, si quieres salir de la cama tienes que saltar por encima de la otra persona, sin ascensor, sin calefacción con solo una pequeña estufa eléctrica, se oyen muchos ruidos de la gente subiendo las escaleras de madera y el jaleo y música de la cafetería de abajo, el desayuno muy pero muy justito en la cafetería, solo te dan un café, un vasito de zumo, dos pastas y un croissant o tostada a elegir... Una noche y no mas
