Good location in Aveiro

Nice hotel, friendly staff, no elevators, good location, there is construction outside but didn’t make noise while we were there. The breakfast was basic but good to start the day. Street parking, so we had to park a block away.

This property is fairly basic, no frills. It's clean, affordable and has a good location. The common areas are pretty dated. The only downside was the strong drainage smell in the bathroom and the masking with even stronger air freshner.

For the price, this property was good. A little tired- but has a cozy feel, like your aunt’s house in Des Moines. There were no frills- a bed, shower, tv and there is no elevator - but it’s only 2 floors. Location is perfect for exploring Aveiro. Drawbacks- it was very cold in our room. There was a plugin heater, but it just wasn’t cutting the cold and damp . Saving grace - 2 huge thick wool blankets in the closet. Breakfast was simple and the coffee was great. Check in and check out were a breeze. check out was a breeze.

okay if you prefer savings to comfort

We booked this hotel because it was not expensive. We arrived early and were surprised that we were offered a room and could go there as soon as around 9AM. The lady at reception was very nice. Our room was pretty clean but incredibly cold. There were spare blankets and a heater. We used them, but I still could not warm up after a shower with water slightly higher than body temperature, it never became warmer. If you travel during the winter, you better reconsider this place. Also the walls were very thin and we could hear all the neighbors' conversation. Breakfast was very basic. The most basic I've ever seen. Tea, coffee and toast were the only warm options. The location is very close to the touristic area and everything is in a walkable distance. So the place is okay if you prefer savings to comfort.
