This was a great place for Avalon, close enough to everything yet off the main drag for quiet in the evening. Nice porch and balcony with a quaint courtyard. Bathroom was small but everything worked well. Shower small but had good water pressure.

Property was ok nothing special about it.. We had a nice ocean view from our room but the windows were small. The Hotel is older and it shows it needs a renovation, it wasn’t bad or dirty but jus worn and not modern. A short walk into town and it had nice outdoor areas to sit.. A fridge in the room but no coffee maker or microwave. I wouldn’t stay here again as there are nicer hotels for the same price or less.

The shower is super small, but if you’re looking for a fair and less expensive place for a short time, then it works. The hotel is situated on a hill so be prepared to walk up hill!

This was not an ocean view room. Hotel Catalina is an old building with a lot of the historical charm that an old building has to offer. The room was very spacious. There is staff at the front desk only until 8pm.
