I liked the location of the hotel. Avalon is very small so everything is walkable. This hotel is on the farther end away from the cruise ship disembarkation area which made it less crowded. The best time is after all the cruise ship people leave around 4pm and the town is quiet again.

The perfect location! Very simple rooms in a very convenient spot. The entrance to some of the rooms is a sliding glass door that faces the main courtyard. Unfortunately if anyone speaks or breaths in the courtyard they feel like they are in your room. Good AC, small shower, clean rooms with comfy beds.

I felt that for the price that we paid for the property. All of the staff was great. The price did not reflect the product very very expensive for some areas that were not clean like the rooftop and limited older looking rooms and some worn down paint and areas I did love that they were able to provide us with chairs bikes, and other amenities that we could take to the beach. The bar was great and the staff at the bar was really good.

Every time we visit Catalina, we make sure to stay at this place. It’s one of our absolute favorites! After our wedding, we decided to have a mini moon because our big honeymoon to Thailand isn’t until January. So, my husband suggested that as long as we stay at Bellanca, I’m all set for a mini moon in Catalina.
