Location, cleanliness, service were on point. We would stay here again. Only constructive criticism is the continental breakfast. The pastries were a little stale but coffee, fruit, yogurts and bagels were good.

Decent continental breakfast. Clean and very spacious room. Beds were fairly comfortable. Nice fireplace and dining table with chairs. Overall pretty decent for a 3 star hotel. Definitely overpriced. But I think that’s common of the Catalina Island as a whole.

The hotel location was perfect we got two rooms they are clean and easy to access But one of the bathrooms was clogged they came to fix it multiple time but still didn’t work AC kept shutting off in both rooms

My husband and I enjoyed the fact that the hotel was so conveniently located. We could walk to just about everywhere. However, the hot tub on the fourth floor was a little disappointing. Quite small, realistically only about a four person Jacuzzi.

Check with hotel if there will be live music outside the night of your stay. There apparently is sometimes loud, amplified bands playing directly outside the guest rooms from 6-9 pm, which may be unpleasant if you’re trying to relax.

Great location

We enjoyed our stay! We were impressed with the size of the tub in what looked like a newly updated bathroom! Keeping in mind the limited amount of water the island has available. We appreciate the breakfast options and coffee for the morning. Location is great.

This is an older hotel, but beautifully maintained and immaculately clean. The location is perfect, right on the Avalon waterfront and an easy walk to all that Avalon has to offer. Our room had a bit of an ocean view, which was greatly appreciated. The staff is friendly and helpful, but there were a couple of things. First, maid service is only by request, which we did not know, so the room went uncleaned for a couple days. Second, the included continental breakfast offers the barest minimum of choices and could easily be improved with a bit more variety.
