Great stay, clean room, good decor, location is super convenient. Overall very happy with the stay. However we were very surprised of not having kettle or coffee machine in the room of a pricey hotel.

The hotel is clean. And they did offer us a bottle of champagne to celebrate our anniversary, but a hotel nowadays should be able to offer a hot shower. The water for Luke warm at best. So uncomfortable and would not stay again

Super nice front desk. Received text from hotel the day before arrival providing details for luggage service at the ferry. Nice bathroom. Clean room. Beautiful building and great location. Only reason I did not give 5 stars. Is because the carpet just is not super clean looking. Appears time for near carpets which can be a turn off.

We've stayed in Catalina several times. The Atwater might be my favorite so far. The rooms are small because as most standard hotel rooms are on the island but the hotel is beautiful, clean and the location is so convenient. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. There were 15 of us and we all enjoyed our stay

Beautiful hotel, amazing staff!

Beautiful hotel, amazing service, and all around exceeded expectations. Loved the gentleman who took my bag right from the Catalina Express dock, instantly freeing me of the hassle of lugging it around until check in. Champagne splits in the room were an added touch you don’t often get, I’ll definitely stay again next trip out there!

Great location

Very nice hotel with a friendly front desk staff. Everything was clean and high quality. Excellent location. BUT the room was sooooooo small. Like barely get around the beds small. It was ok for one night—if staying longer I would need a larger space and at this nightly price point I’ll stay elsewhere next time.

Really easy to get to (of course, Avalon is tiny), with a central location in town. Room was kind of noisy - lots of drain/water/something noise from the sink, beeping/buzzing outside the window all day long, and the AC in the room ran constantly (at least the fan part). It was clean, as comfortable as could be expected, and although small, normal size for a room on Catalina. The front desk, and everyone we interacted with was EXCEPTIONALLY helpful and friendly.
