Probably the best bang for your buck. Cheap nightly rates , free hot breakfast , and free drinks and appetizer at the conjoining restaurant. We really enjoyed our stay.

There was black mold in the room. The bathroom and the bedroom part. There were also dead cockroaches under the bathroom sink. The elevator was dirty and in need of repair. The hallways seemed to need at least a good carpet cleaning. The staff was friendly. But will never stay at this location again.

A/C worked great, but rattled. Hot water was awesome, but the hotel is old and there is just no nice way to say it, but it needs updating and real maintenance, not just bailing wire and duct tape. Maybe for the typical price it is mildly acceptable, but we were there on a busy weekend, for Austin, and we paid 5 star hotel rates for a 2 star facility. The images on-line look nice, but....that's marketing, and the reality is it is probably a 50 year old hotel with some lipstick. At the end of the day, if given the choice in the future, we would have just stayed further out to be in a nicer newer hotel, even if it were a chain that is not 4 or 5 star, but is new, clean and well maintained. And to end on a high note, the gentleman at the front desk was very nice.

Continental breakfast is scrambled eggs, sausage, slice bread, bagels, muffins, two cereals, banana and strawberry yogurt, apple and orange juice, plus coffee. Comfortable bed, clean sheets and towels. The staff is friendly and helpful! The property at the courtyard and pool beautiful and lobby area is lovely decorated and comfortable. I would recommend.

Room was clean, the front staff were friendly, the breakfast was decent, the balcony was gross and the worst part was having two towels for a double with 4 persons checked in and the cards not working. It was hard to have kids at the pool too because of people having glass beer bottles and coming out of their balconies smoking and throwing trash and butts towards the pool but that's humans not respecting humans and not on the hotel staff.
