Great boutique style hotel, in a small town, away from the hustle and bustle, within easy reach of Flam. Overlooks the Fjord with great views.Breakfast was excellent. Evening meal options limited but still exceptional quality and service.

Great location with beautiful view on the fjord. Spacious room with balcony. Good breakfast. However, the front desk staff was not very friendly or helpful (for example when asking about activities). Also, no free coffee/tea available in the lobby, which I would expect given the high price of the hotel.

5-Star Experience with a Minor Setback We’ve stayed at many 5-star hotels abroad, and this one truly stands out. The overall vibe was warm and welcoming, with beautiful design choices that complemented the surrounding mountains perfectly. Our room, located on the second floor and facing the water, offered a stunning view — opening the windows in the morning was such a refreshing and peaceful experience. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom was modern and spotless. Everything felt clean, cozy, and like home. Even the hallways and lobby spaces were inviting and well thought out. Breakfast was another highlight — you can choose from both a menu and a buffet, or enjoy a bit of both. The variety and quality were excellent, and we left each morning feeling satisfied and happy. We only had two minor issues during our stay. First, the coffee machine broke during breakfast one morning, but the staff was quick to make fresh coffee for everyone. They were so sweet and attentive — truly impressive service. The second issue was with the parking. We had a spot when we arrived but left for dinner, and upon asking, the host assured us we’d still have a space when we returned since it was a slower evening. Unfortunately, when we came back, the lot was full. The host mentioned that two cars shouldn’t have been parked there but couldn’t do anything, as they don’t track which cars belong to guests. We ended up having to park elsewhere and pay, even though parking was suppo

This was a great find. If you can make it to Aurland (minimal bus service from Flam), this is a nice option with nice views of the Fjord and breakfast is included.

Beautiful view. Comfortable hotel in Aurland. Friendly and nice staff. Only constructive feedback is that there was toilet paper inside the toilet bowl and trash in the garbage bin that wasn’t taken out / cleaned when we first checked in. Other than that, was a nice stay. The breakfast and dinner restaurant was great.

Staff was friendly and helpful. The room is basic but clean. The breakfast had many options and food was fresh. Only complain was that breakfast area was understaffed - forks ran out, tables not cleared etc. There are few choices for dinner in the town of Aurland but fortunately the hotel restaurant was decent. Excellent location for access to local scenic drive.
