Friendly, helpful staff member on arrival. Room and ensuite were impeccably clean. We would have preferred if there was more furniture like a couple of armchairs and another bedside table but understand it's fairly budget friendly accommodation

The bedding is super soft and cosy, but you only get one very thin pillow. Lovely private room with plenty of space, but bring ear plugs as the doors all bang loudly late at night and early in the morning. Basic free breakfast (toast, cereal, and oats) but it’s often put out later than they say (9-9:30 rather than 8:30). I like the location near K’Road and the views of the city from the top floors are amazing. I have stayed here twice now and would come back as I know what to expect and it’s a good price for what you get.

Was happy with the staff at United..unfortunately not so impressed with 'wotif' ( third party booking ).. Got to United only to find there was no room available ( one i had book 2 months in advance)..Had booking references Numbers and whats more ..i actually rang the hotel 2 minutes after i had made the booking ( just to confirm) and they said yes all is fine?? After a 45 minute wait while staff located us a room we had somewhere to stay..( myself and my two sons) one of which was flying out the next day to Australia for 6 months, so was a very important stay for me with my boys..(All up from chch for the night) to see Coldplay and farewell a son/brother . Needless to say i will not be using a third party booking agency again..

ニュージーランド入国5日目に夫婦2人で宿泊しました。NZは冬でした。 周辺にある同価格帯（6,000円以下くらい）のホステルの中では、ピカイチに綺麗でおすすめできる宿です。 内装は塗装の色遣いが美しく、寝具もしっかりとメンテナンスされていて快適に眠れました。海外クイーンベッドあるあるですが2つのベッドを1つにして真ん中がモーセの十戒になるパターンが散見されますが、ここはちゃんとクイーンベッドでした！ 今回は簡易キッチン付きの2人部屋に宿泊しました。部屋にはお皿、カトラリー、電子レンジ、水道が完備されています（※コンロはありません） シャワーは広くてお湯もしっかり温かく、満足でした。 ➀強いて要望を挙げるなら、2人部屋のキッチンの棚スペースに空きがあるので、椅子の高さに合う折りたたみデスクをおいておけば、部屋内で作業が出来て未使用時は場所をとらず…なんていう想像をしました。 あとは寒がりの日本人的には、暖房がないため冬は寒いと感じるかもしれません。 ②深夜はスタッフが不在になるため、鍵のインロック（室内に置いたまま外に出てしまうこと）だけは注意が必要です。有事に備えてチェックイン時に連絡先を聞いておくとよいでしょう。 全体的にとてもクオリティが高く、また泊まりたいホステルです。
