Great location within walking distance of the bus station and the city centre. If you’re planning to have easy access to buses to and from the airport, this is the right place. There are also plenty of dining options nearby. There is a nearby homeless shelter/charity kitchen, so you may occasionally see people in the area, but I didn’t find it disruptive as a solo female traveller. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Auckland. Reception staff were super friendly and welcoming ( Argentinian men )

The staff is very friendly. The room was very clean. We did the breakfast buffet and it was really delicious and had a lot of options to choose from. We arrived very early in the morning and the staff brought our suitcases to a secure room till our room was ready. The room was available earlier than announced. We also had dinner in the hotwl restaurant and it was very good.

The room was clean, but there was an unidentifiable smell in the bathroom which was off-putting. Staff are friendly and accommodating. There is a couple of convenience stores and bus stops within a short walk. The lighting in the room was very dim which did make it hard to see some things.
