We booked a room last minute for the Iron Bowl & this is what was available…it was okay. Location was good for after the game, for sure. The employee was nice. The room wasn’t horrible, but the mattress was stained & it definitely needs updated.

This motel is old, dated, and has the very basics of a place to stay. Rooms and facilities are dirty, beds are not comfortable, sheets/towels are very cheap. Get what you pay for I guess.

Our 6 day work trip.

Wonderful and clean! People were very nice! Breakfast was yummy & light. They had grab an go options and I love Microtel! It was so nice to get off work and take a hot shower watch tv and go to bed! Quiet and clean & off by itself.

Both people I talked to at the front desk were very nice. The young lady I spoke to when I arrived allowed me to check in and recieve my room card early because I was at an event during normal check in time. So im quite thankful for not having to check in at 10pm when I returned. The bathroom door was not attached at the top hinge and you can see its been repaired several times. Someone tried to use drywall anchor sleeves to get the screws to hold. When I left I let the gentleman at the desk know and he said he would contact maintenence. All n all I paid for a place to sleep and I got that.

The staff was very friendly, the parking lot, walk ways and property was very well lit but the rooms, mainly bathroom, was not very clean nor stocked with enough towels but we made due enough to excape the storms.

Not bad for a last min find

This was a nice stay. The staff was so friendly. Mrs Kim made sure me and my mama had everything we needed the whole time we was there. Pet friendly so my little man was able to come with me. Room felt a little crowded to me but it was very clean and had microwave and fridge so we were fine.

The bed were comfortable and clean. I requested a roll out bed and even call the hotel before booking and they said they had some but when I checked in the lady at the desk said they didn't have any I even paid extra on Orbitz for a roll out bed was happy with that. I understand we live in the south but omg cockroach ville!! At least the shower had extreme pressure.

Graduation Visit

Our stay at Motel 6 was excellent. The room was very nice and clean. We stayed because my son was graduating from Graduate School at Auburn University. The location was excellent. We were close to shops, food and the interstate. The staff was super friendly and nice. Motel 6 is very pet friendly, and ir had a nice grass area to walk your pet. My son is staying in Auburn to live, so we will be visiting Motel 6 again.

Budget Motel - you get what you pat for

Easy access when on the road. The floor was not to be used without shoes (the feet turned black). Have stayed at a 6-venue before so I was kind of prepered. The room also smelled of previous smoking, inspite of being a non-smoking room. We came late and decided not to try to change room - needed sleep. the Darling staff made the stay worth while inspite above challenges, they were very welcoming and friendly

Pet-friendly!

The Motel 6 in Opelika was a good value for the money. We especially appreciated their pet-friendliness, which extended to the fact that there was no extra charge for our two Scotties. We were initially assigned a room right next to a room that also had two dogs in it, and there was barking back and forth, so we asked the front desk to be reassigned, which they did quickly and courteously. Would recommend.

The smoking rooms are HORRIBLY NASTY DIRTY LAMP SHADES CIGARETTES BURNS EVERYWHERE DIRTY MIRROR OUTDATED FURNITURE JUST HORRIBLE THE NON SMOKING ROOMS ARE OKAY THEY SMELL NICE THE COMFORTERS ARE NEW AND PRETTY THE AREAS WERE CLEAN

Repairs are Needed ASAP --I Will Not Return Ever

The housekeeping staff, when I checked in, was the highlight of this stay. Kim, the housekeeper, came quickly to change the sheets on my bed as they were dirty upon arrival. I did not witness any bugs...this was a plus. There was mold on the ceiling and the bathroom area had hairs all around it and feces around the toilet. This was gross and should have been handled prior to me arriving. I will never return to his hotel as it is not clean and needs updates and a better cleaning system. The entire hotel needs to be renovated as it appears to be in need of major repairs.

They only gave us 2 wash cloths and 2 towels for a weekend stay. My reservation showed that I would have 3 kids with me. When I went to see could I get more, the front desk lady said that they had run out ! Housekeeping never came so I basically had to keep going to get tissue. The tv would cut off every time the microwave was turned on. The water had to run for at least 10 minutes to get hot. But it was a quiet and peaceful stay.

Staff was extremely nice and helpful. Room @ bathroom were not throughly cleaned prior to my stay you can tell it was rushed last time the room was taken care of, it was dirty I had no shampoo or conditioner, okay that’s fine I brought my own. No soap of any kind. My AC unit would not turn on and they didn’t have other rooms 😩 it’s Alabama. No pet fees which is why I choose motel 6s larger area for my pets to do their business and stretch their legs I had pizza delivered, it was pretty good
