Extremely clean . Love the retro look. Very well maintained. The bowling alley was fun just wish it was not up/down a hill to walk. Bad hip - but very drivable and fun atmosphere. My only suggestion is leave more towels for rooms with double beds.. obviously more than one person may need towels. I would recommend this hotel especially for a fun staycation.

Foothills Motel is the definite go to when staying in Auburn CA and surrounding areas. The place is spotless. All fully remodeled and friendly staff. I really appreciate how accommodating the front desk and housecleaners are. I highly recommend staying here especially with their reasonable rates!

What a pleasant surprise! We had a group of 8 golfers and we were looking for somewhere near Auburn for a golf tournament and extra rounds that had good reviews and wasn’t ridiculously priced and this place was great. Rooms were renovated, clean and had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable, fridge, microwave, coffee maker and cute retro feel. The Fire pits and Adirondack chairs were great for after golf and dinner to hang out and have a beer/cocktail and relax. Parking right in front of your room so we didn’t have to lug our clubs up to the rooms. Rooms aren’t huge but they were great for the price. We plan to stay there again next year.
