“Great place to stay!!”

“The pub was lovely beams and horse brasses. We didn’t eat there as my daughter lives just down the road. The rooms out the back are comfortable clean and have everything you need it was quiet at night as I am a very light sleeper but had no trouble.”

“Room is clean and quiet. Air-conditioner is definitely a plus during heatwave. We were able to have a nice sleep after a day long activity. Staff are very helpful to accommodate our request. On Sunday, the bar closes a bit earlier, so we missed the last order time. But we were able to have a dinner at the bar on a weekday. The food quality is superb in the area. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will stay again next year.”

“The shower around the bottom on the tiles needed a good clean, but the room we had was very good ”

“Lovely friendly staff, always remembering that I stayed before. We get the room we have requested. We order a vegetarian roast which is outstanding, food delicious and hot. Plenty of parking. Depending where the room is you can hear the traffic going past in the evening & mornings but overall alovely stay. That's why we keep going back and also you have a choice of breakfast part of the deal.”

“I only had one dinner in the Greek restaurant but I felt the thickness of the pitta bread topped with chips before thin slithers of chicken just bulked the meal out and made you feel you were having something very unhealthy. Due to no air con and high temperatures the room was incredibly hot and uncomfortable. There was a fan which helped to a degree. Could have been more generous with water, teas and milk although when I asked for more they immediately provided. But, the staff were all...

“Accommodation within student campus, run well and always happy to stay here. Basic and dated but if you just looking for a no frills bed for the night then its perfect”

“Just the job..a 2 night stay for the wife and myself. We will be returning here in a few weeks time for a couple of nights again...so relaxing. The staff here are excellent, going the extra mile to ensure a freindly, comfortable experience. Have to say, especially the restaraunt staff...brilliant! And the breakfast served was really just great...looking forward to that again in a few weeks time!”
