we had a beautiful room with the balcony, it was heavenly!! Love this place!! Best advice, if you book on expedia when you check in go to the VIP check in, you do not have to stand for hours at the regular check in desk.

Rooms were very clean. There is so much to do on the property, we went on a rainy day and were happy that we didn’t need to leave the hotel to have so many things to do. Check in was also really easy we showed up around midnight and there was still plenty of staff to check us in and answer questions. If i could suggest anything bring a case of water with you. Water in the vending machines was out and it was really expensive to get it anywhere else in the hotel.

If you aren’t staying long then this hotel is good. It has a few great things about it. We loved the arcade and the boardwalk being in front of the hotel and the fact that they have an indoor water park. But the hallways upstairs smell like weed because everyone is smoking even the ones with kids. Some of the features are very outdated. The carpet is old and stained. And the advertise an indoor pool but they mean you pay extra for the water park where the pool is and parking is extra. There aren’t any real deals for the food or park. The kids liked it so I was ok with.

When I first got there they had me in King. I booked 2 Queens. When I went to tell the front desk the lady seemed to have a attitude. Then when they switched my room it smelled like pee. I was so disappointed 😞 😞. Although the arcade and Waterpark was fun.

It took two hours of standing in line to be able to check in to our hotel, and there was no microwave in our room so there was no way to heat up left over food. The biggest issue for me was that I have celiac disease and not one restaurant in the entire resort was knowledgeable about gluten free options or what gluten even is. Only one person was helpful my entire stay, the rest of the staff just told me no and to go on the boardwalk or door dash. The arcade and all of the kids stuff was really cool though, my kids had a blast. My daughter especially loved the roller skating rink and the location of the resort was perfect. Would definitely go back for an hour or two visit but would not actually stay there again.

We somewhat enjoyed our stay, mainly because of the location. The hotel is very close to the beach, and that was one of the main reasons we chose it. The water park and the large amusement area were great for kids, and my family had a really fun time. If you’re traveling with children, the location and attractions are definitely a big advantage. The room was okay. We booked a room with two twin beds. The furniture is quite old, and the carpet had an unpleasant smell that reminded us of urine throughout our stay. We also requested a microwave for our room, but it wasn’t delivered until the next day. The room phone didn’t work, so it was difficult to contact the front desk when we needed something. When we booked, we were told there would be a coffee maker in the room, but there wasn’t one. Overall, this is not a luxury hotel. It is older and could use some updates, but the price is reasonable for what you get. The biggest advantage is its excellent location and the family-friendly attractions nearby.

We stayed at Showboat in Atlantic City over the weekend so we could attend a concert. Since they had an indoor water park, we decided to stay there. I like the fact that this hotel does not have a casino, since we don't gamble. This place was more like a family-based hotel. We stayed at Bourbon Tower, which overlooked the Ocean, so we had a good overall nice room with 2 queen beds. The room was clean. We only stayed one night to go to a concert and left the next day, so I really did not experience many issues. It's nice that the parking lot, indoor waterpark, and boardwalk are all connected. It's nice that we had a little short walk to the free beach as well. (Atlantic might be the only free beach in NJ?). I would come back here again. We stayed in Showboat a long time ago, where they had a good buffet that no longer exists. Only thing I would complain about is that when we checked out of the hotel around 11 am, the only way to go to the parking lot on the upper floor was using the elevator, and there was so many people waiting for elevator to go there so we wind up waiting about 20 minutes to go up and they have no way for anyone to go up with stairs from outside. They also charged us $50 to check in early, since they don't check in until 4 pm. Overall good hotel, but I next time I will check out little early and make sure to do something else before we get to hotel at 4pm.

We got a room that was filthy. Went to the front desk and the change my room to something way better. Also your price is wrong making me think I’m getting a good price. When you get to the front desk that is where all the other fees get charged. You should let the customer know that will happen. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. The elevators weren’t working, only one for the entire building.

I was traveling with my two teenage boys to do the water park and the game room this is our 6th year going to the showboat and staying this year specifically the hotel has declined the staff at the front desk is very rude almost dismissive the hallways were scorching hot with no AC on one elevator working the rugs had stains our room was a basic room with two beds no complaints there I enjoy the location and you still love the showboat to travel as a family I will no longer be staying at the showboat unfortunately

I liked that it was right on the boardwalk, the arcade and other stuff for the kids were great. Have a lot of fun things for kids to do, loved the ocean view. I didn’t like the check in process I waited in line 35 minutes due to only 2 girls at the front desk until another 2 girls came and help. There were no soap, shampoo or conditioner in our room, air dryer wasn’t working neither and the air conditioning should be a little more efficient and the elevators kept having issues so most nights it was 4 out of 6 working.

The room was a good size; however, the hotel is older and appears to be in need of updates. There were no USB charging outlets, and the refrigerator appeared not to have been defrosted in quite some time. The room also had a strong chlorine odor. The pillows were very small and appeared to be intended for a twin-size bed, even though my room had a king-size bed. In addition, no one answered the phone when I called either housekeeping or the front desk. This hotel appears to cater to families, and children were in the hallways late into the night, making it difficult to rest. When we arrived, there were two fire alarms, which required guests to remain outside for a period of time. Overall, my experience was disappointing, and I would not choose to stay at this hotel again.
