Overall it was a great place to stay. Clean rooms. Only issue I had was there’s no fitted sheet on the king bed. Just a flat sheet that kept getting untucked so you can wind up sleeping on a bare mattress. Other than that perfect for friends and family

The front desk staff were pleasant and helpful. The waterpark was great; clean a lot of food options and plenty to do. The renovated suite is spacious and well decorated but still needs some updates. The housekeeping staff were dismissive. The balcony was littered with cigarette butts. The shower in the primary room had a clogged drain. The elevators need to be replaced. The carpet in the hallway needs to be shampooed.

If you have children and intend to use the waterpark and/or the arcade, this is the place to stay. We didn't visit the waterpark, but we did go to the arcade and there are tons of games. My kids also enjoyed the rollerskating. They have a good "convenience store" for snacks and most of the staff was friendly and helpful. We stayed in the Orleans wing, and the room needs updating. The bathroom was the best thing about the room - big and looks new. The carpeting, bedding, and walls in the bedroom were stained, and it needs new furniture. The floor we were on was quiet and this hotel is in a good location near things to do on the boardwalk. We were next to the Sugar Factory and the Steel Pier.

It is a safe place for kids and adults. The game arcade is nice as well. They have things to do for all ages. Each year, they have been upgrading the place. My worst experience was the adjoining room where housekeeping for got to put the locks on and the people in the next room was trying to enter our room. Luckily, we had just came back to the room and observed this. We called security and they came. Not sure of the outcome but they did not try to open the door and we had to make sure it was locked.

If you aren’t staying long then this hotel is good. It has a few great things about it. We loved the arcade and the boardwalk being in front of the hotel and the fact that they have an indoor water park. But the hallways upstairs smell like weed because everyone is smoking even the ones with kids. Some of the features are very outdated. The carpet is old and stained. And the advertise an indoor pool but they mean you pay extra for the water park where the pool is and parking is extra. There aren’t any real deals for the food or park. The kids liked it so I was ok with.

When I first arrived I got a room that shared a door, the issue was there was a 3 inch gap on the bottom of the door where a child put his hand. So they were nice and move me to a better room that was great. There was no complimentary breakfast, and the pool was out of order for renovation, if I had known I'd be looking for a different hotel. They have a great area for kids (arcade) and race cars. Location on the boardwalk was amazing. Staff was accommodating. Parking is not included ($25 per night). Also the Waterpark at the hotel was $59 per person. The overall hotel is old and worn out. Also the elevators were having issues same as the wifi that worked for about an hr. I enjoyed the stay but will not probably go back to that hotel.

It took two hours of standing in line to be able to check in to our hotel, and there was no microwave in our room so there was no way to heat up left over food. The biggest issue for me was that I have celiac disease and not one restaurant in the entire resort was knowledgeable about gluten free options or what gluten even is. Only one person was helpful my entire stay, the rest of the staff just told me no and to go on the boardwalk or door dash. The arcade and all of the kids stuff was really cool though, my kids had a blast. My daughter especially loved the roller skating rink and the location of the resort was perfect. Would definitely go back for an hour or two visit but would not actually stay there again.

The stay itself was enjoyable, but the front desk service fell short of expectations. I had specifically booked a room with one king bed, yet upon check-in I was assigned a room with two beds. I had to return to the front desk to correct the error, which should have been handled accurately from the start. I don’t typically leave negative feedback, but the lack of a welcoming demeanor and basic attentiveness was noticeable. Front desk staff set the tone for a guest’s experience a simple smile and attentive service make a meaningful difference. As a business owner myself, I train my team to greet every customer warmly and professionally this is a standard that should be consistent in hospitality as well.

Family friendly for sure, the rooms are soooooo old the lighting is terrible, the door latch was broken the first night was not the room we originally booked for, because they over booked all the other rooms so we had to take what they gave us!!! The room wasn’t even clean the bathroom had dried blood on the floor, the carpet was damped. I would have preferred to stay someplace else where the place is up to date, theirs no microwave in the rooms so you have to basically spend money everyday, I will not stay here again. My kids had fun because of the water park, that you can finish in 30min so yea it’s up to you then you have to pay 25$ a day for parking after stil paying all that money!! I say choose another hotel to stay and just go to their 10min waterpark

We had an average/below average rated stay. We did enjoy the close proximity to the ferris wheel and carnival. The room was ok. We have young children and learned beforehand that the room did not come with a microwave for microwaving the milk bottles so we had to arrange to purchase one at the desk when checking in. The room was basic, there was a lot of light coming in the room at night from the hallway through a large space underneath our main door. Be aware, this is a pet friendly hotel and we witnessed two incidents where dog poop was involves in the hotel. The arcade is for older children and not for under 8. We found the music throughout the hotel to be too loud too. We understand that they want to provide an exciting and party atmosphere but it was a little over the top for us. If you ask us if we would chose this hotel again, we would have to think about it first for our needs but might only select it because of the convenience of our familiarity with it already.

We somewhat enjoyed our stay, mainly because of the location. The hotel is very close to the beach, and that was one of the main reasons we chose it. The water park and the large amusement area were great for kids, and my family had a really fun time. If you’re traveling with children, the location and attractions are definitely a big advantage. The room was okay. We booked a room with two twin beds. The furniture is quite old, and the carpet had an unpleasant smell that reminded us of urine throughout our stay. We also requested a microwave for our room, but it wasn’t delivered until the next day. The room phone didn’t work, so it was difficult to contact the front desk when we needed something. When we booked, we were told there would be a coffee maker in the room, but there wasn’t one. Overall, this is not a luxury hotel. It is older and could use some updates, but the price is reasonable for what you get. The biggest advantage is its excellent location and the family-friendly attractions nearby.

The location of the hotel was very convenient because it was right on the boardwalk and it was near Margaritaville, Landshark and the amusement rides. The Check in process was the worst I have ever seen. The line was super long, it started from where the gym is located and it went around the corner to the front desk. No self check ins like other hotels, so you have to go through customer service which took about 2 hours of waiting in line. You have to pay a $150 deposit which you will get back if the hotel room is not destroyed after your stay. Keep that in mind because when you book the room, it doesn't not mention the $150 deposit. Self parking is available at the garage which is great, however the parking garage is on one side and the elevators to the hotel rooms were on the other side. So it was a long walk and it was extremely exhausting especially if you have multiple bags, kids and/or pets. The elevators were frustrating at times, because they were running very slow and big families would fill up the entire elevator and the stairs are not usable, very dirty and the don't lead you to the lobby. Some of the elevators stopped working because they're old and overfilled. *

We stayed at Showboat in Atlantic City over the weekend so we could attend a concert. Since they had an indoor water park, we decided to stay there. I like the fact that this hotel does not have a casino, since we don't gamble. This place was more like a family-based hotel. We stayed at Bourbon Tower, which overlooked the Ocean, so we had a good overall nice room with 2 queen beds. The room was clean. We only stayed one night to go to a concert and left the next day, so I really did not experience many issues. It's nice that the parking lot, indoor waterpark, and boardwalk are all connected. It's nice that we had a little short walk to the free beach as well. (Atlantic might be the only free beach in NJ?). I would come back here again. We stayed in Showboat a long time ago, where they had a good buffet that no longer exists. Only thing I would complain about is that when we checked out of the hotel around 11 am, the only way to go to the parking lot on the upper floor was using the elevator, and there was so many people waiting for elevator to go there so we wind up waiting about 20 minutes to go up and they have no way for anyone to go up with stairs from outside. They also charged us $50 to check in early, since they don't check in until 4 pm. Overall good hotel, but I next time I will check out little early and make sure to do something else before we get to hotel at 4pm.
