It is your basic hotel. Nothing special, but not dirty. The people who work there try their best with what they have. Close to beach which is nice.

Staff was super friendly! The room was a little run down. The shower was very tiny and the bathroom door did not shut all the way making it not be able to lock. Overall, was a good experience!

One of the parties was sick, we tried thru property owner and Expedia tried for to change the date, and the refused, so we lost our money, I have told family and friends of the very uncooperative management!

Our tv did not work ! We told the desk they said they fixed it they did not . Also the bathroom was running the whole time and the ceiling above the staircase to the third floor was leaking heavily . Staff was polite . The room served its purpose but was too small could not even walk in the room. The bed took up whole room

30 min wait for check in after check in time room wasn’t cleaned. Shower didn’t work. Gave other room someone was in there. Talked to owner and said contact Expedia to get your money back because that’s how we paid and said she would let you know to refund money. (Heather) but I finally got a room and it’s fine after an hour looking for a “clean room” I want a refund

It was only a few blocks to the boardwalk. Besides that, I feel like everytime I left the room, I heard another guest complaining about the condition of their room. Ours had a slanted floor and broken bed. If you plan spending zero time in the hotel, I guess the price was ok.

This hotel was very dirty, with holes in screens which allowed insects access. The plumbing in the shower area was exposed so you could see the red and blue vinyl piping. The towels were stained and dirty, coverlet on beds was filthy. I would never stay here again

Weekend away

Place was great but wish it had broom in unit to sweep floors from all sand and dust on hardwood. Parking was nightmare not enough spaces per rooms. Went to store to come back and be told find parking on ocean or waverly bc there free and there’s not enough Parker spots per room while they are booked. I have a 1 yr old and my mother with bad knees with me walking that far was not ok. Otherwise stay was pleasant

It was clean and that is important. It was quiet e en though they were at capacity. The building is really old which is kind of cool and they have done their best to keep it nice. It was bare bones, no pictures or any personality. Towels were clean but management needs to give them some attention. Hand towels were missing.

It was a boarding room with a 3 ft bathroom and no windows. At all. We had to sleep one up one down to fit in the bed when I requested the room with 2 beds. Then the fire alarm went off in the morning and we had to evacuate. No staff was on site to talk to the police and fire dept.

Blue Water Inn is dated and needs improvements, but its best aspect is that it is close to the Boardwalk where there is shopping and eateries. It is an older building. The lobby was nice and the desk help and cleaning lady were nice and helpful. Beds were a little hard. The price was a plus compared to other properties. We could see using it again- especially if the owner did some needed improvements to the rooms and hallways. Room closing hooks added would be a plus addition. It was clean and doable since most of the time you are out and about.

I’m not sure if the following is true for every room but ours was a nightmare. Water damage in the bathroom, broken blinds, moldy faucet. We actually wore shoes everywhere- even in the shower because is just felt unclean. Extremely uncomfortable bed - the list could go on and on. The only Pro was the location. I only stayed one night.

The room was dirty. Used towels and old socks were left in the room. The flush mechanism on the toilet was broken. I stayed here last summer and was satisfied but it seems to have gone down hill since then. The porch needed sweeping, there was no complimentary coffee offered in the morning as there had been previously.

It’s an old beach hotel. Yes the room is small but the facilities are kept clean and it’s 2 blocks from the boardwalk and beach. Perfect place to sleep and grab a shower, the rest of the day is on the beach.

Ceiling was moldy. TV was not connected to WiFi and the password at the unmanned front desk didn’t work. Tv was not connected to local channels either. So don’t plan on using the TVThe bed and bathroom appeared to be clean.
