The Candler was a great classic hotel in downtown Atlanta, near Georgia State. The neighborhood is a little dicey at some hours, but we had no problems walking around. The restaurant was good but pricey, but also seemed very relaxed and groups seemed to stay around and chat giving it a comfortable vibe.

This hotel is a gem and well preserved historic landmark. The whole experience was too notch! Parking was close by and not too expensive. Hotel was giving tours. The rooms were beautiful and hotel in great condition. Would definitely stay here again.

Very nicely remodeled hotel more than 100 years old with great restaurant. Staff helpful. Missed us for maid service and made it right by us. Bath big but missing the simple towel bars and hooks, limited counter space for belongings in bedroom. Easy fixes for hotel to do. Quiet, felt safe to walk in evening.
