After a long day of traveling we finally arrived at the hotel. The 2 gentlemen at the check in counter were busy chatting and carrying on with 2 half dressed women to wait on us. As we waited to check in we overheard that the girls weren’t even hotel guest, and were there for a party. You need employees that put your customers first. The gentleman that worked the front door and valets was exceptional! He needs to run the front desk …matter of fact probably the hotel.

This hotel is a beautiful older styled hotel, unlike the typical stay. The rooms are beautiful clean and very spacious, unique and classic. However, there aren't as many amenities for the price paid to stay. The valet is $55/day. The staff are friendly "enough" but there could be a little better service. The incidentals to check in is more expensive than a NYC or Las Vegas property. They charged me $600 and would not check me in unless they held that amount. Typically, a hotel will reduce the incidentals upon request. I never used anything to be charged for, so I wasn't happy to have so much held at this location. The downtown area has become inundated with homeless people and it isn't quite as nice for walking which I had hoped to do more of.
