Amazing views from the room and the restaurant. Restaurant food is five star and so is the service. Staff couldn’t be friendlier. Plus a roomy rain shower. If you’re heading to Piraeus, look no further. This place is a FIND!

I booked this hotel initially because it was in the neighborhood of a cruise we were boarding. We had a few days to explore, and found an abundance of food and amenities in the neighborhood. The rooftop restaurant is very good; we ate most everything breakfast there and some dinners. Finally, the main areas of Athens were not far away by cab or train, so made several trips up there too.

The Alex was charming, clean and centrally located. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. The views are spectacular, especially from the rooftop restaurant/bar. The food was delicious and the staff was wonderfully accommodating and polite. I highly recommend this hotel to any travelers going to Piraeus.

Superb. We only staying one night on our way to the islands but what a great night it was. The hotel is well situated, very well appointed and really well run. The rooftop bar and dining area is spectacular as is the breakfast which is served there in the morning. Restaurants and bars are ten minutes walk away and located in a lovely crescent harbour. Oh, and you can see the Acropolis from the rooftop, yes you can.

We stayed here 1 night pre-cruise and the location was 10 minutes from cruise port. The room was spacious and the staff was very helpful. The rooftop bar had a great view and we had a wonderful breakfast there. It was also very easy to walk down to the Piraeus port for a wonderful fresh fish dinner.

Very nice, clean, restaurant on the roof was convenient and very good! We only stayed one night after our cruise and enjoyed the views. The only caveat was there was a basketball game that the local team won and till the wee hours of the morning there was a lot of loud celebrations going on. With 2 large stadiums nearby, you might want to check the sports schedule, lol. All in all everything went well.
