Property was great although Expedia says checkout is later than it is. Checkout I believe is 11am but Expedia said noon, so the concierge came up and was telling us we didn't have the time we thought we did. They were perfectly pleasant but it forced me to pack quickly. Rooftop bar is cute, all the staff were friendly. Location was great

Definitely adequate but not stellar

The stay was about or slightly above average for a hostel, nothing spectacular but not a dive by any means. I must admit though that I don't understand how hostels don't provide privacy curtains

Decent but a hotel is better

It's ok for the few hours I was there. The bathroom in the dorm where I stayed stunk . It's because of the poor hygiene from one the girls in the room. Can't blame the staff. Get a two star hotel for just a little more in Athens and get your peace.

It is a very funcional hostal, so in athens that is perfect. After one drink and dinner on the roof terrace i never went back, that is a place for silence and quiet talking together. I found there very loud horrible músic instead. I went to the Indian roof terrace where the view is the same and the tranquility fantastic!!

Not a real hotel and much to noisy.

It's a youth hostel. Not a hotel. Receptionist meet us with an attitude. Got a small and extremely cramped street level room in another building across the road with people partying and shouting just outside our Windows most of the night. At 7 am loud as hell construction work begins right next door. No sleep at all before long drive to the Peloponnes. Cannot recommend.

The location is perfect for exploring Athens, its right next to the Metro station and in the heart of all the bustle. It feels like a safe location even to wander at night. The roof top bar has amazing views and a good buffet style breakfast for 5€. The locker charge is a bit annoying and it cost 3.50€ but when i put in 4€ it did not give me any change. The rooms are quite small and a bit hard to maneuver with 6 people inside. The air con was okay. Its super noisy at night with people partying outside the rooms in the street. Make sure you bring ear buds. You can buy them at the front desk.

They are all amazing in every way! A dream team always helpful and friendly. As a hostel and good value of money, I didn't have high expectations. Believe it or not, I have been around the UK in many hotels with 3-5 stars but didn't find this excellent customer service or so clean and tidy room every single day. The hostel is literally in the heart of the city centre within 5 min walk for Plaka. With the train and underground 3 min walk from the hostel, you can explore Athens and many places. I cannot forget the roof top bar with breathtaking view of the old town and Acropolis! Lounge music and cocktails with balcony for smokers, and all around glass. Many thanks to Eirini that she made me feel that I'm ''home''. Justin is the super girl that gives a sparkle to the room every morning! I couldn't be more satisfied and happy with my stay. Definitely I will visit again this lovely hostel in Athens!

It was uniquely quirky in a pleasing way. I think as they fine tune their 'product' they may provide a drinking cup or glass, and managing the water runout from the shower stall can be an unexpected surprise the first time - I was lucky that I needed to exit briefly mid-shower to stop my iPhone alarm, and had an opportunity to see the waterworks that I was in the process of creating. No problem, staff anticipated this with an extra large towel folded. Several times on the floor outside the shower! Clean up only took 5 minutes. Didn't happen a second time. The A/C works great, and is super quiet. I only stayed one night by design. Can hear voices in street outside my first floor window even past 02:30 Sunday. I think this reflects the very lively atmosphere of this Monastiraki area. No problem ,especially considering that I appreciate the first floor unit with my 32 Kg luggage and one night to allow me low stress transition from Piraeus ferry to Athens International Airport. Hotel is a five minute walk from Moniastiraki Metro Station, which provides single Metro line transfers to either Piraeus or the Airport. No stress!

Hôtel très bien situé

Hôtel qui ressemble à une auberge de jeunesse, des chambres avec le minimum indispensable mais c'était ce dont nous avions besoin au regard du prix. Seul hic : le lit en métal qui grince au moindre mouvement. Hôtel super bien situé : à 1 min de la place Monastiriki, dans un quartier alternatif, très pratique pour visiter Athènes !

Super mais attention au bruit

Hostel bien placé, accueil très sympathique et rooftop super classe ! Chambre très correct ! Par contre, fenêtres mal isolées et très très très bruyant la nuit. Des personnes parlaient dans la rue en bas de notre fenêtre et c’est comme s’ils étaient dans notre chambre. Même avec des boules quies, c’était très dur de s’endormir… Aussi, c’est dommage d’avoir un balcon mais ni table ni chaise pour y aller ;)

Ekonomik temiz hostel

Hostel olarak temiz ve duzenli. Ana binada cati katinda kahvalti ve bar var. Ana binada ses var. Biz karsisindaki binada kaldik. Ses gurultu olmadi. Yer cok merkezi. Monastraki meydanina ve metro istasyonuna yurume 2 dk. Odalarda buzdolabı yok. Ama klima tv var. Duş biraz dar ve perde var, duşakabin yoktu. Gunluk temizlik yapildi. Personeli iyi ve guler yuzlu.

Very nice hotel with amazing rooftop. Onlything bad that there was a party with really loud music on the hotel corridor (yes out on the corridor!) that the staff did'nt care about.

Great rooftop, and location

Great location. Excellent rooftop bar, where guests actually hang out, making it easy to meet people. The large dorm is actually good size, and lockers are big. Although storage lockers before or after checkout are not free. Lobby is good place to hangout as well, and more fancy than most hostels.
