The room had a somewhat stale and musty odor. Running the air helped. The beds were clean and comfortable, but the bathroom was small. The room was dark, even with all the lights turned on. The mirror over the sink was not well lit for applying makeup. The carpet in our room had a torn place in it that my husband said was probably caused by drunk college students. I liked the fact that dogs were not allowed on the property. Breakfast was mediocre and the coffee was weak.

The front desk clerk greeted us warmly and was helpful. Check in was quick. The room was clean. Beds and pillows were comfortable. For a motel we were surprised how quiet it was. No noise from traffic or other rooms. No blow dryer which was not an issue just something to note. Bring your own. Breakfast was pastries, bagels, make your own waffle, cereal, fruit, yogurt. Oatmeal packets. Enough to get the day started. If we needed to stay in Athens again we would stay here again.

The beds were extremely comfortable and the room was clean. This is a safe area and it’s near several shopping and restaurant options, as well as just a short trip to UGA. The manager was friendly and helpful, I will stay again.
