The area around the hotel is loaded with graffiti. The actual hotel front is nice and clean. The staff is exceptional. They were very helpful in ordering taxi transfers. All around it was a very nice place to stay.

Philia hotel was one of our most favorite hotels we have ever stayed at. First of all, the room and the common grounds were very clean and welcoming. The location felt safe and perfectly located to explore the city. Most importantly, what really impressed us were the administrators - Gina and Thanos. Their genuine care and hospitality was unparalleled, we were treated like family. We had a fantastic visit and look forward to staying here again. Very highly recommended!

I don’t normally write reviews, but this place is awesome. The entire property has been updated and there are only 11 rooms in the whole hotel. It feels first class from the moment you walk in, with a custom breakfast prepared for each guest at your chosen time.

We loved our stay at the Philia Boutique Hotel. It is in a walkable neighborhood and a few meters down the road the street turns pedestrian with dozens of tavernas and a lively atmosphere. Yet, once back in the room it is very quiet. The staff is doing everything to make your stay even more comfortable. We have found our oasis in Athens in the Philia!

We stayed at the Philia Boutique Hotel for 3 nights in May 2025. The staff is amazing, extremely nice, helpful and speak very good English. The hotel is steps from restaurants and shopping but is still quiet. The room was of adequate size as well as the bathroom. We had breakfast every morning and it was cooked to order from your selection the night before. I would not hesitate to book this hotel again, highly recommend.

My only concern is that there is no elevator to the courtyard suites. My husband has difficulty with stairs and it was difficult to get up and down. This fact should be in the literature so people can make a better choice of hotels if there is someone with a disability.
