Perfect location

Self check in (easy ) lovely little cosy room, close to Metro and city life Everything you need in a room! Will for sure return (If you have problems with stairs, maybe you should stay somewhere else, no elevator)

I liked how private and comfortable it is. After long days of exploring Athens it was like coming back to a little cocoon. It was super convenient to all of the areas of Athens I wanted to explore. I didn’t realize this when I first arrived. But after walking around for just a few minutes I realized how conveniently it was located. My only negative is I wish that I had received my “check in” information earlier. I was in a bit of a panic when I first arrived and didn’t know how to get in but it was quickly resolved.

The room wasn’t what I expected. The trim was falling from the ceiling, bathroom faucet was loose and leaking, the main front door of the property door latch was broken so could easily be busted open. I read previous reviews prior to booking and they were all great. I ended up booking a separate hotel after the first night. I don’t typically leave reviews but I hope a future travelers experience is better than mine.

Total debacle , booked two nights so I could check in early, no key box details given , guy on phone ( after wrong number on web) spoke little English as I told him four times I booked two nights so I could check in early , shame as it was a basic well decorated room , close to all attractions , oh also didn’t tell us no lift , so had to carry bags up stairs ,

Eigen Empfang, Eingang sehr schmutzig, Zimmer nicht gemacht (17.00 Uhr), Zimmer obwohl im Hinterhof, lärmig. Eine Stunde Wartezeit fur Sauberung. Sehr sehr kleiner Dusche. Uberstimmt gar nicht den betten Photos. Der Manager wollte von zurückzahlen nichts wissen. Nichts angeboten fur inconveniency. Wir haben ein anderes Hôtel genommen. Kaum teuerer, 400 m von Syndagma, schön, raum, zauber, Dachterasse mit Sicht auf Acropolis. Was ein Unterschied!

Pluspunten: De locatie is zeer centraal en op loopafstand van veel bezienswaardigheden. Kamer 3 is minder gehorig en heeft een leuk dakterras. Minpunten: Kamer 4 is erg gehorig; er komt veel lawaai van buiten. Tijdens ons verblijf van 6 nachten werd de kamer niet schoongemaakt. De prullenbakken werden slechts één keer geleegd en we kregen slechts twee keer nieuwe handdoeken. De wc-bril is kapot, wat ook in andere reviews wordt vermeld die maanden geleden zijn geschreven. Er zijn geen haakjes in de kamer of badkamer om kleding of handdoeken op te hangen. De voordeur van de ingang moet altijd op slot worden gedraaid, wat niet ideaal is in geval van brand. Er is geen strijkijzer of strijktafel beschikbaar. De douchekop is alleen geschikt als je ongeveer 1,10 meter lang bent. We moesten €60 bijbetalen (voor 3 nachten) om naar een minder gehorige kamer te verhuizen.

Die Unterkunft ist wirklich sehr zu empfehlen. Eine zentrale Lage, ein schönes Zimmer mit Zugang zu einer kleinen Dachterrasse mit Akropolisblick, im Zimmer selbst alles vorhanden was man so benötigt. Die Abwicklung war total unkompliziert. Nebenan ein hervorragender Eisladen 😁 Was man wissen, bzw. beachten sollte ist die Lage an einer doch sehr lauten und lebhaften Straße, sowie der Standort einer benachbarten Bar/Diskothek, die einen bis tief in die Nacht mit lauter Musik versorgt ^^ Wer sich daran nicht stört, wird hier eine gute Zeit haben.
