The hotel is nice and has a view of the Acropolis. The location is excellent, right next to the Plaka neighborhood and very close to the Acropolis. It’s very convenient for exploring the area, with many attractions, restaurants, and shops within walking distance.

Wonderful hotel with loads of character. Walking distance to historical sites, shopping, and restaurants. We loved the terrace with the view of the acropolis (and friendly pigeons). The room was very comfortable and clean. Highly recommend staying here.

Excellent central location and charming stay! We had a fantastic time at Kimon Hotel Athens. The hotel is in a perfect spot in the Plaka area just a short walking distance to the Acropolis, which made exploring so easy and convenient. It’s also close to all the best restaurants, shops, and attractions, so we never needed taxis or public transport for most things. George is absolutely the best, he was incredibly helpful and made our stay even better! We really had fun during our time here. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to be right in the heart of historic Athens. We’d happily stay here again!

Kimon Hotel is a true gem in Athens. You cannot beat the location. It has everything you need for a pleasant stay and a great roof terrace, with a wonderful acropolis view. George is stellar and goes out of his to make you comfortable and informed. There is a spot for quick breakfast directly across from the hotel. The hotel is quiet and has amazing air conditioning!

Helpful staff but this property is needing a good upgrade and refresh. There is no lift/elevator in the property so if you are booked on the top floor, be prepared to haul your luggage. Location though is good. Close to Plaka and Monastiraki Square, restaurants and bars.

We had a first floor room. It was no frills and there is no elevator, but the bed was comfortable, the air conditioning kept the room cool and comfortable, and it was walking distance to all the sites we were interested in visiting. There is a convenient take away coffee shop across the street from the hotel entrance. There is also a cleaners a short distance up the street where we dropped off some clothes for wash, dry and folding. That was affordable and convenient, so we didn’t waste time dealing with laundry. Our room had a small but useful balcony, and a larger balcony was located on the top floor.

Fabulous location for such a reasonable price with genuine rooftop patio view of the Acropolis. At least a dozen good restaurant options within a 5-minute walk . I was allowed to check in early and the desk clerk also helped me book a taxi to the airport during the transportation strike — this was no easy feat! I highly recommend Kimon hotel!
