Very clean! A nice place to stay during our week trip to Athens. Airconditioning worked great and the rooftop terrace was a nice bonus. For the gym, do not expect professional, but for a vacation it was more than enough.

The rooms and building were great. The location was not great, it’s really close to downtown and Plaka, you can walk there but I’d take a taxi, especially at night. It’s worth staying there but if you’re traveling with kids, I’d recommend staying a bit closer to Plaka. The staff and apartments were great! Great shower, beds, kitchenette, etc.

The room was comfortable - it even had a stove, microwave, and mini grill! The reception staff are very nice and helpful. This hotel is a gem. For solo travelers: The surrounding area is very dark at night. As two travelers, we never felt unsafe. There is an ERMASS cafe downstairs that is open late, and there are often people hanging outside it, having a good time. We did not spend any time there, but it seemed nice!

The room with kitchenette was perfect for us. Spacious and comfortable. The location is close to the metro lines and convenient to go to the Acropolis, the museum and Plaka. There is a great bakery two blocks from the hotel worth a few visits. The area is being cleaned up and reasonably safe.

Our stay at the Ermass was above our expectations for the cost. The hotel was clean and had many amenities we normally would not have had at the price we paid. The roof top lounge gave great views of the city of Athens and was wonderful at night. The pool was just enough to cool us off after sight-seeing all day. The workout equipment was high quality and well maintained. The building was secure and friendly staff was available 24/7. The area the hotel is located was an easy walk to the Acropolis and National Archeological museum, which can lead you away from tourist areas to see a different side of the large city.
