The staff were very attentive and kind. Many remembered us during our stay, a few by name. They made excellent recommendations. Hotel itself was attractive, well-kept and welcoming. The breakfast had so many options, and the food was delicious. Our room (5th floor) faced the Acropolis, and it offered a great view. Even better, the pool/bar on the roof had incredible views of the Acropolis. You pay for the view, though. Drinks were 18 Euro each. Okay for a one time splurge. Although the location is a little far out, the train station is a quick walk, and the hop on hop off CityBusTour has a stop that’s a 3 minute walk from the hotel. There were several nice restaurants a few steps from the hotel. We took the airport train to the hotel, and the x95 bus back to the airport. Both stops were conveniently to the hotel.

From the excellent desk staff to the waiters everyone was very polite and friendly. The initial room we had wasn't comfortable bed wise and the manager was very accommodating in finding a room that was. Went above and beyond. Breakfast was superb and the rooms spotless.

The hotel staff were extremely helpful and responsive. The amenities were excellent. Location is centrally located and in a great area with a lot of restaurants nearby. While we had an overall pleasant stay, there were a few disappointing aspects that I wouldn't expect from a 5-star hotel. The biggest surprise was the bed. The mattress, pillows, and bedding simply didn't feel like they met a 5-star standard. The bed wasn't very comfortable, and I've honestly had better sleep in some 2- or 3-star hotels. Another issue was the shower drainage. The water drained very slowly, so it would start to build up while showering, which was frustrating. The other disappointment was the pool hours. The pool closes at 7:00 PM, which really limits the opportunity to enjoy it. One of the main reasons I chose this hotel was to relax by the pool after a full day of sightseeing and walking around Athens. With such an early closing time, that wasn't really possible. If I had known this in advance, I probably would have chosen a different hotel. Overall, the hotel has its positives, but I think these are important points for future guests to know, especially if you're booking it with the intention of enjoying the pool after a day of exploring the city.

Our room was clean and housekeeping was efficient. The consierre was excellent! The porters were friendly and extremely helpful. However, the desk clerks were unfriendly and rude. I engaged with 3 different clerks during my stay and each had dismissive attitudes and made you feel like you were a bother to their day. Breakfast was okay, but you are not permitted to take coffee or a plate from the breakfast room. The rude breakfast attendant will literally take it from your hand as you try to exit. If you want coffee to go you must pay for it. The coffee in the room is terrible so that’s a problem for me. Coffee in the mornings is a must. The pool area is clean but drinks are pricey. Juju restaurant is fabulous!
