Basic hotel, but rooms were modern, well kept and clean. The employees were very nice and responsive. With the price, location and condition, this hotel is a good deal when visiting Athens.
Very dirty! The entrance and parking lot had us at being skeptical . Should not have stayed because room was worse. Holes and stains on the blanket. Noticed a rodent sticky pad laid but fridge and microwave. Very sketchy....homeless dude hung out by our door all night as well. Coffee machine was out of order....all it needed was a filter change but front desk couldn’t be bothered and when pointed out, he made a sign for it. Spend the extra $50 and go to the Hilton, just up the street.

There was piss or cleaning fluid all over toilet seat.
The cleaning person That was very emaciated, looked like a drug addict unable or unwilling to adequately clean the room.
The television was partly broken- volume stuck on very loud and tricky to even turn it on .
The desk staff were very helpful both days, but other people like maintenance cleaning and management are not doing their job. The very friendly desk staff then have to put out a million brush fires and try to compensate for everyone else’s failure.

Overall a pleasant stay
Pleasant experience. The hotel we normally stay was booked so chose this one based on availability. It was close to downtown, the beds were comfortable, the room was clean. An issue we has was the tub would not fill up because the stopper no longer worked. For the price, we will stay again.
Close to walk to everything downtown. Clean, affordable rooms. Just what was needed for a quick weekend.

Good overall but a few cosmetic defects
The room was a little dingy from a flickering light, a leaking drain, to a broken door knob but it wasn't anything that made the room unpleasant to stay in but could be nicer.
Black mold in my room. desk booked my room to someone else after I was already in it. Thankfully I had the latch on the door because I was in the shower

Good location. For the price, the coffee could be better. I am willing to stay there again.
Very comfortable bed and clean shower with good water pressure

No, it's not the Ritz, but overall I recommend it
Overall, it's a nice place to stay. It's within walking distance to downtown Athens. The room was clean. The staff was friendly. The bed was uncomfortable. The place could use some renovations. However, through this website, we got the room for less than $90. Contrary to some other reviews I read, it really wasn't a loud place for a college town. I also never felt the slightest bit intimidated by other guests or other people who may have been walking by.
Decent room, but poor service. Some staff was very helpful and others were not at all. Couldn’t get an extra blanket or extra towels when asked, even though I was there 4 nights. Not a place for children to stay. Cheap and close to night life locations but you get what you pay for.
Party outside woke me up. Next morning found beer bottles broken with broken glass all over walkway on both 2nd floor and floor beneath. Front desk acknowledged there was a party from 3 to 5 a.m. But they didn't do anything to stop it or clean up the broken glass on both floors as clear as day for 8+ hours until after noon?

Good budget stay but bring your own water
I stayed over the weekend that have some game event, so I do understand the noise is unavoidable. The staff put me on the rear end room which is good. The breakfast is okay, basic continental breakfast. There is no water in the room or in the breakfast area (broiling hot water is NOT drinkable). This is very small cost to put water bottle in the room. I have travel across the country, this is the first hotel with such experience. Location is great close to downtown and food area.
Very close to Sanford Stadium and restaurants! Room was clean and staff was friendly. The breakfast was pitiful!

Location is good. It’s walking distance to bars, shops, restaurants, and UGA. The property is old & worn out. This was my second stay here. The nonsmoking room was much better than my previous experience. The price is rediculous for what you get. This room should’ve cost 70 rather than $300!
This is an old hotel that is Trying Very Hard. The rooms all have outside doors like the old time hotels. The ice machines were leaking water onto the walkways. You can hear everyone outside your room. The breakfast selection was available but not very good. The toilets are old like you would find in an old stadium. Our toilet had a rag hanging on it because it leaked everytime it flushed. The only reason this hotel stays in business is because it is near UGA and people are desparate for rooms.
