Akis and his brother are obviously hard working entrepreneurs. The room was above average but did have a mustiness to it that we got rid of by leaving the doors and balcony open. This is a residential area. However. When we needed rides or information they were 100%. Both Akis and his brother have much better english than my Greek. But if at all possible, if you want a history lesson and great conversation, ask for Vasillis (😬) to drive you into downtown Athens or on your day adventure. There is a bakery within 200 meters, go right. If you like pizza or a great meal. Turn right and walk about 1/4+ mile. On your left will be a group of eating areas. Cosmo’s was excellent. I would go back and stay here!

Airport shuttle was good from airport to hotel. The hotel apartment (very spacious) was great. The area was a little noisy but didn't mind it. We loved walking down to the cathedral and having dinner at a few local restaurants. Great place to stay when wanting to be close to the airport.
