I was only in Athens for one day but the hotel was in a great location near one of the ports and the shuttle to the airport runs 24 hours which was also helpful. We ate at the restaurant and it was a nice way to end the trip with a nice meal with a nice view.

The hotel has beautiful views on 3 sides. It has easy access to the ferry port as well as fish markets and eateries on one side and a really nice public beach on the other. We had a nice breakfast buffet included and a shuttle to the airport. It was well above expectations.

Great hotel a few minutes walk from the port of Rafina. Free transfers to the airport was also brill-just book on arrival with reception. It is only 30 mins away from the airport which makes it a great location for transferring between ferry and planes. Room was spacious and great for our family of 4 as everyone got their own bed. Lovely balcony overlooking the port as well!

The Avra Hotel lived up to the many reviews and we have no hesitation staying there again. It is not a Ritz Carlton or Four Seasons, but at the price you get a clean, quiet, friendly staffed facility away from the loud and chaotic buzz of Athens. Near by local restaurants featuring authentic Greek food at reasonable prices are also a plus. Tiny recommendation, email responses can be slow, so call them if you have any questions.
