This hotel was in an excellent location and walking distance to many attractions in Athens. The hotel was clean and modern. The staff was welcoming and helpful. The breakfast had a variety of foods. Unfortunately, our room was near the elevator and we could hear noises from the hallway and the club music from next door until approximately 1:00am. Overall, a wonderful hotel for the money.

The room was clean and comfortable enough, There's no shower door, so water can spray a bit onto the floor mat towel. Will hear church bell rings often. There's no tissues, so if you need them, remember to bring them yourself. We got the very top floor and the elevator only goes to the 6th floor, so we had to lug our suitcases up to the 7th floor. The staff were really nice and friendly, and allowed us to check into our room early.

Great location. An easy walk from the Monastiraki Train Station. We walked literally everywhere we wanted to go in Athens from the Starlight. The room was small but very clean and well appointed. We took the hot tub suite and used the hot tub most nights to relax after a long day of touring (on foot). The staff was excellent. They were helpful in giving advice and assistance on planning our days, and they went above and beyond when we had a medical issue. The were all always pleasant and accommodating. We've heard a lot about Athens, both good and bad, but found it to be a fascinating city, and the staff at the Starlight were a key to making our stay enjoyable. Oh, yes...the daily included breakfast was very good and a very good way to start the day. If you are staying there, we'd recommend using the staff to arrange transportation. They arranged to provide a private car to the port, the cruise terminal and the airport for us. More expensive than public transport, but the door-to-door service, with the Starlight arranging it for us, was well worth the extra expense. We would go back to Athens again and would stay here.
