Cute tidy place with mid century kitsch vibe (including a diner next door), near the Astoria Riverwalk with a great view of the Astoria-Megler bridge. Check in was quick and efficient ; parking was no problem. It is a classic motel—there were sounds from neighbors and occasional passing traffic . Altogether though, we were pleased to find a comfortable stay at this price point on a holiday weekend ; would return

Motel was clean and reasonably priced. Retro decor was fun. The staff were helpful and happily offered suggestions for food and fun. It is within walking distance of the Bridgeport Bistro which is one of the best places to eat in Astoria. If you are looking for something more than fruit and pastries for breakfast, there is a Pig and Pancake restaurant right next door. You do have to be careful crossing the busy street to get to the Piers.

We were in town for a fishing trip and booked the Atomic Motel. Location was excellent as we walked to dinner each night. Right across from river walk and down the street from downtown, everything was close. Room was fun with the retro feel. Just some of the fixtures in the bathroom were pretty beat up and old. Worked, but beat up. Sink, shower, etc. overall, I’d stay there again.

Atomic Motel was the perfect stop for our family road trip. Property was clean and staff was friendly. We appreciate the "throwback" feel, it was something fun and different. Beds were comfortable. Highly recommend.

Excellent staff. Very pleasant and helpful. Convenient location and parking. Please include recycle receptical in rooms. The bath and vanity lights need to be separated. Add a protein to the breakfast, possilby boiled eggs.

Everything went well! It was one of the nicest motels I’ve stayed in. Felt clean and safe. We brought our dog and he had a great time. My only issue was that the shower would fluctuate temperatures if the person in the room next door was using the shower. It would go very cold back to hot, etc.

This quirky mid-century modern styled motel was a fun place to stay. Staff were friendly and very helpful when we had a problem with our room. Breakfast was minimal; excellent choice of coffee, but food was just a snack. Loved the vibe and the theme of the updates. Wishing the proprietor luck with the rest of the renovations. Great access to the waterfront walkway on the edge of town.

The good: Staff was reasonably friendly and the pillows were nice. The bad: No AC in the rooms, "renovations" are just a fresh coat of paint without actually fixing anything, breakfast is a joke that just about any gas station and many vending machines can top, the parking lot is terrible, mattresses are lousy. I wouldn't pay more than $50 for a night there if I couldn't find anywhere else.

I have been traveling for over a weeks and this was probably the best stay. I was a late check in so they sent my info over via text. The room was beyond spacious and had unique touches throughout. The beds were comfy and inviting and it did have that hotel feel. They are tucked in with a small lot to park, but I like that. Great stay
