“Building is grand and everything you expect from a stately manor. Once inside the large staircase area is breathtaking! Room was comfortable, clean and everything I could want was there. Dinner was in the restaurant which was lovely! Breakfast I had delivered to my room for a small fee and was also delicious. Every single member of staff that I came into contact with was extremely helpful, polite and friendly. This was a lovely little break to relax and visit friends and I would stay here again.”

“The check in process was remote on Monday evening at 20:00. Had been call the hotel all Monday afternoon to ask some question as sixth sense kicked in that check in might be an issue. Read on the website that phones are not staffed Monday and Tuesday!! Place is very tired, marked walls everywhere, a bit of cleaning and elbow greese would go a long way. Floors unswept for days. Breakfast cereal all over the dining area for days, very crunchy! Staff attire was sloppy and shoes dirty, kinda...
