“I have nothing to compare it with as this is my first experience of youth hostels in 40 years. I was impressed. I loved the open area, bar and restaurant. The dormitory was excellent. Beds were well spaced, ample plug sockets, mattress & pillows excellent. Clean sheets and super mattress. The bed was as good as any 5 star hotel. Honestly. The shower was clean but a little small. The facilities in the kitchen were good but some of the pans had loose handles. The staff clearly clean but somehow...

“We stayed 2 nights as a group of 6 in the bunk barn. The room was full of mould. The bunk barn doenst peovide enough space for 6 people and very little space to store belongings. Mould can cause serious risk to health when inhaled and given we had people with asthma in our group its a blessing it didnt cause and harm at this time. The female bathroom was infested in flies.
