We were just looking for a place to stop overnight.it was very clean and totally updated. Beds were comfortable.. area was surprisingly quiet. Very inexpensive. Would recommend it . We would definitely stay again. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

I loved this room. Smelled amazing when i walked in Not a speck of dirt on the wood floors, which is impressive. Cute bathrooms. Nice nice people. I checked in really late, but the process to do so was also really good. Great price. Will absolutely stay again

This is just a cute, homey feeling place. I feel like the building is probably old, but you can tell they’ve made updates to the rooms. The parking lot is a little small towards the back so that could be hard parking a larger vehicle, in my opinion, but we had plenty of parking towards the front. This was the quickest and easiest check-in I’ve ever had. I think it was probably the property owner who checked me in and he was super nice! Room and bathroom were spotless. No signs of bugs or mice, which is a super plus for me!

Staff is nearly non-existent, the mini fridge didn't work, my shower had several long, dark hairs in it (I have short, light hair) and despite being "non-smoking," my room smelled like cigarettes. Bed was comfortable, parking was convenient, and the room was spacious.

Clean!

Appears to be older motel, but remodeled. Our room was nicely updated and cleaned. We were only there a few hours due to late arrival and early flight, but the inn was conveniently located (also next to a McDonald's). Parking lot is narrow so it makes it feel tight. Our room (210) had hot sink water, but the shower never got beyond lukewarm. We would stay here again!

First of all the bed was very comfortable and the shower was very nice. But it goes down from there. The stairs up to the second floor are rusty and look like they’re in need of repair. There isn’t a light near the bed, so I had to use my phone’s flashlight to get from the bathroom to the bed. The hinged bathroom door was replaced with an accordion-folding door that was difficult to secure and the remodeling work to install it was cheesy. The light fixture above the toilet was broken with giant cracks running along its diameter. It looked like it would fall apart and spread glass pieces all over the toilet of someone touched it. Also, there was no place to hang wet towels. The blackout curtains did the trick to help us sleep along with the comfortable bed. The bathroom that was clean and that is what prevented this review from getting one Star.

During check-in I could not see the final bill, and the clerk said he would email me my receipt. I told him I preferred it right then and he printed it out for me. The room was very clean, bed very soft, small refrigerator, very small microwave. ALL very good and nice. The only other negative was that the sink was very slow to drain. Over the past 25 years, I have stayed here perhaps six times. The Asheville Inn has always been a refreshing place to stay, decent prices with very quiet and clean rooms!

Won’t return, left after one night

It was not clean, there was a dead cockroach in the bathroom when I arrived. When I checked in, my room with two queen beds wasn’t available so I had a king bed. Not what I asked for, told I could move in the morning. I saw them cleaning the rooms and throwing the bedsheets in the dirty parking spots, on the concrete. Not a very clean way to treat the bedsheets we sleep on.

This was overall OK. Inside had enough space and convenient storage, mini fridge, microwave. You have to be rung into the office which makes the area seem pretty sketchy (it’s right off a major road kind of down in a pit). They had Wi-Fi but it didn’t work and wouldn’t even connect to one of my devices. There was something weird and scaly in the bathroom sink (think shrimp skin) that I had to pull out with scissors. The bed was comfy (and extra tall, I had to climb in tho I am average size) and the noise was minimal so that was nice. I tried working at the desk but the desk is so high that when I sat it’s impossible to use with the provided chair. Overall lukewarm to the place, but it was cheap so there’s that.
