We chose this hotel because it was a reasonable price and had a good location to the downtown Asheville area, which we thought wasn’t worth going to. The breakfast buffet was $16.95, but we didn’t think it was worth it. The food was average,, at best. The room was clean and the bed and pillows were comfortable. Parking was easy and the staff was friendly. Good coffee in the morning, in the lobby.

Excellent choice when staying in downtown Asheville. Clean and quiet. Appreciated the complementary parking in their surface lot - no need to navigate a parking garage. Can walk to all that downtown Asheville has to offer. Would stay again.

Everyone on the staff we encountered was wonderful - very warm and professional, from Jenn at the front desk to the serving team in the restaurant to Billy in maintenance. The free water is a nice touch. It's located in a quiet part of downtown, just off the interstate but still very walkable to more active areas - parks, shops, restaurants, Friday night drum circle, etc. The hotel is extremely clean and clearly well-tended, though it's pretty dated - maybe early 90s design? Time for an update, but overall we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the great staff and clean environment.

Reasonable rate for being walking distance to many shops and restaurants. Felt safe there. Parking excellent at facility. Bit noisy at night being near a highway. Rooms were clean and beds comfortable. Staff were accommodating and pleasant.

Staff was wonderful, couldn't have been better, but the property was beat. It just looked and smelled old and tired. It really needs a facelift. If you're not too picky its OK. My wife really didn't like it so we forfeited two nights and booked somewhere else. But the location was fantastic, just at the North end of the most prominent main street - Broadway Street/Biltmore Ave. In 2 - 3 blocks you are in the heart of downtown.

This was an older property but was immaculate and the beds were amazing!! Can someone from there tell me where I can get one of those pillows?? I was in a king size bed and the pillows were phenomenal!!! Staff was super friendly as well, food was great.
