It is very convenient for my travel CNA job. The owners respond very quickly. For the most part I go there to shower and sleep. The have some friendly guests that come through.
Excellent and low cost hostel for travelers in the Asheville area. Friendly and professional staff. The hostel provide access to comfortable beds, clean bathrooms, and a shared kitchen. Location is not far from downtown and course to hiking trails.
Loved the vibe of the place. It has character. Beds are comfy. Showers are nice and hot. Temperature of the rooms are solid. I think the general cleanliness of the place could be better. Most of all though I felt safe staying here for a few days. The parking is fine but there are only like 5 spots. Definitely will be back 🍻

Location is nice with many cafes surrounding.
Don’t bother coming here if you value your sleep. Quiet time after 10pm doesn’t exist and not enforced. One night guests on the outside deck directly below us were drinking and loud after 1am. After telling them to quiet down they continued for another 30+ minutes. Next night I messaged property to address noise as guests inside downstairs shared space were playing music loudly and having a house party until almost midnight. Never received a response or acknowledgement from the hostel.
I’ve traveled and camped the world alone, I have never felt so unsafe as this hotel as a woman. I got dropped off and there were immediately two men on property asking me about it but in an aggressive way. I tried to enter the main hostel but of course my code didn’t work because it’s to the small cabin down a dark and unlit alley. I called the number - well within their opening times, and was told to just use my code. I stayed where I was on their front porch even after having to confront them alone so they didn’t follow me down said pitch dark alley. Then rudely someone from inside cracked the door to “ask” if “I needed help.” No response from owners after relaying this immediately on app. Shower is janky per others. Really unfortunate experience for what would have otherwise been fine.
