We had a wonderful stay. The place was immaculate, beautifully maintained, and truly one of our favorite accommodations in Italy. Although it was a bit farther from Montepulciano, Pienza, and Montalcino, it was absolutely worth the drive. Its proximity to Siena made it a perfect base, and we genuinely enjoyed every moment of our stay.

We stayed 4 days and are so glad we stayed here. The area has a restaurant right outside with the best view where they serve lunch and dinner. They also have a bar and a pool. It’s an old castle and yet they keep it clean and pretty restored. Breakfast buffet in the morning was included for us. The bathroom comment from others might be from not understanding how to use it as you have to pump the button several times to flush. The staff was wonderful and helpful. They spoke English and some Spanish.

Lovely hotel. The views are spectacular - the sunsets are unreal. Great amenities and beautiful property. The staff were amazing. Helpful, friendly and always available. Room was comfortable and clean. Finally, located close to Siena with loads of dinner options in town. That said, one might we ate at the restaurant and the food was great.

The property is good and has a character. Well maintained over all. The pool is not for swimming and was dirty. We got the premium suite and it was not only over charged but also had poor AC. Breakfast was fine. You cannot walk anywhere from the property. No activities within itself either.

It’s a nice cute small hotel. The whole pool are is very old and needs updating asap. We went to this hotel for the spa but when we got there we were told it’s not operating so it was very disappointing.

The view from the dining area was perfect. The included breakfast was amazing and the complimentary ebike rentals were perfect to get around outside of the hotel to catch more amazing views! The food at dinner was perfect. The only thing that was lacking was the bathroom showers. Ours was leaking. Other than that it was a perfect stay.

This is a tale story castle where the ambience makes you feel like a princess. We stayed as a couple and felt like a honeymoon. Now, it’s not close to anything, so for us, the 2 nights were perfect.

This is a nice place away from the crowds. You are surrounded by hills which makes for beautiful scenery. Siena is about a 25 minute curvy drive if you do not choose to eat at their restaurant. Extracurricular activities are limited to the pool. The room was spacious but the air conditioning struggled to keep the room cool in the 95 degree weather making it somewhat uncomfortable at night. This is a good location for relaxing and quiet.

Wir waren für 2 Nächte in der Junior Suite. Das Zimmer war groß und sehr sauber, leider aber etwas dunkel. Das muss einem bei einem alten Schloss bewusst sein. Im Zimmer war alles, was man benötigt, inkl. Bademäntel, Schlappen, Flip-Flops und Pooltücher. Besonders gefallen hat und die Anlage selbst sowie der tolle Pool. Die Aussicht auf die Weinberge und die toskanische Landschaft waren einmalig. Das Restaurant war sehr gut, das Essen besonders und lecker. Die Preise sind aber entsprechend höher als gewöhnlich. Für 1 Wasser, 2 Wein und 2 Hauptgerichte zahlt man um die 90€. Das Frühstück war bei uns inklusive und glücklicherweise nicht ausschließlich italienisch süß. Es gab von Brötchen, Säften, Aufschnitt, Rührei, Müsli, Gemüse und Obst alles. Parken könnt ihr kostenfrei vor Ort auf dem Parkplatz. Das Hotel ist ein wahres Juwel, welches ihr bei eurer Toskanareise nicht verpassen solltet. 1-2 Nächte kann man sich hier auf jeden Fall gönnen.
