After camping in the Serengeti for 4-5 days, we need a clean and comfortable hotel room to re-pack and clean up. The rooms here are massive and the amenities, top notch. Having breakfast on the rooftop was also a plus. If I am ever back in Arusha - this will be where I stay!

Beautiful view

We stayed there twice, before and after our safari. The first night was wonderful, the view and the room on 14th floor. The second stay started worse, I had booked and payed for a deluxe room and got something else. After complaining I got a better room after some waiting. But this room had more noice from traffic and a bar in the neighborhood.

Our visit to the Sanna did not start well, there was a snafu with our reservation, resulting in us being moved to their eco lodge on arrival. The staff was very gracious in trying to make up for this, and the owner personally came to right this. The hotel is beautiful, i fully recommend upgrading the suite. There is a rooftop restaurant and bar that has beautiful views. The bell tower and market is within walking distance, however vendors make walking the streets annoying. They have a transfer service from the airport that is worth reserving. The hotel has spa services that are relaxing for weary travelers.

We had a GREAT experience at Sanna hotel! The location, staff/service, and room were excellent! The staff was very attentive and provided outstanding customer service; they arranged our airport transportation for the next day; also a tuk tuk ride to the Art Gallery & went above and beyond by offering their info so they could arrange our return transportation. We're immensely grateful for all the efforts by Prince to help us resolve the external issues that we experienced with our safari company (unrelated to our stay) and accommodating & expediting our late laundry service request. The room was spacious, bathroom was clean & bed was comfortable.The sunset view from the roof is spectacular! If you're obsessed with sunsets like us, this is definitely the place to watch it. The restaurant staff setup a table for us & we enjoyed wine from the full service bar, while watching the sunset over the city. We didn’t have a chance to try dinner at the restaurant, but had a delicious, made-to-order breakfast. There is also a cafe attached to the hotel and the beverages we had were good. We forgot a few names so didn’t mention any of the staff, but wanted to say THANK YOU to everyone who crossed our paths at Sanna hotel. You truly helped to make our time in Arusha & Tanzania special so we didn’t leave the country with a poor experience, from the Safari company. We look forward to returning for a future stay at Sanna and would highly recommend for your trip to Arusha.

My stay at Sanna Boutique Hotel in Arusha was a perfect blend of comfort and modern design. The room was impressively large, immaculately clean, and thoughtfully laid out. I loved the mix of tiled floors in the entry and bathroom with cozy carpet in the sleeping area. The bathroom was a highlight - a true four-piece setup with a whirlpool tub, spacious walk-in shower, plush bathrobes and slippers, and a hairdryer. The only thing missing? A bit more counter space. Storage was abundant, with plenty of closet space, a double luggage rack, and even a full kitchen counter. The lighting system is automated, and there's an in-room safe for peace of mind. The rooftop restaurant was a great place to start and end the day - breakfast is included, and dinner was both delicious and beautifully presented, all served with sweeping views of the city and mountains. Service throughout the hotel was excellent. I also had a phenomenal massage with Neema - highly recommended, especially after a safari or Kilimanjaro climb. One note: credit card payments come with a 4% surcharge. They require a $5O US deposit. I gave them cash, for which I got a receipt, so I wouldn't be charged another surcharge plus l'd be guaranteed to get my money back next day. And while the $70 airport transfer was on time, the driver's lack of caution stood out in an otherwise great stay.
