Great backpackers - for price
Great stay when booking on line for cheaper price. Very clean, decent rooms for price nice and cool even with out AC, good breakfast considering price with great roof top view of mountain.
Only issue is hot water some times did work and wifi was super spotty working only 10% of time if you can connect.
I paid 6 dollar for a single room, nr 208. The fan, bed and room were ok and the shower is hot. The breakfast was simple, but not bad. This room is quiet, smal no mosquitoes. In nighttime the area does not look inviting and in daytime it is busy.
The best quality-price hostel you can find in arusha

The location is good because is in town, but the room was noisy, the bed was missing woods then was broken, then the mattress and blankets was too old, and uncomfortable to sleep after a long day journey.
The people were nice but unfortunately we had bedbugs in our room. Also the location is very noisy and the continental breakfast is really really basic.
It was a very enjoyable stay, the people were so friendly, I felt as if I was with my family. The management help me with everything that I needed, they even assisted in directing me to the local sports field for exercise, advised about the Covid test, call taxi's, and helped me with electrical points for my laptop in the restaurant. They speak excellent English. It is clean, comfortable and excellent value for money. I can recommend Arusha Backpackers very highly.
The staff was friendly and the shared toilets were clean. The bar upstairs On the rooftop in also nice.
The main downs were the fact that we had a room without windows but an opening on the top Facing the hallway that had only a mosquito net - there was a group of young, drunk Americans that was really loud and it literally sounded like they were chatting and laughing inside our room. Also, we were told not to leave the hotel at night for safety reasons. We did leave to find some food, but we left all belongings at the hotel (including phones)
Hot shower and clean and nice staffs
Only WiFi is not so good during daytime but it’s fine.

very noisy.
Its fine. But it is soooo loud. They have metal bins in each room. Metal locks on every door. They start to clean the rooms before 8am. There is only wire mesh separating each room from the corridor.
This place is reasonable value. The room is small, but there’s a good, covered terrace. The price is stellar and the staff helpful. They hooked me up with a good safari. The WiFi does not work in the room, but it’s good on the terrace. Unfortunately, they have a serious bed bug problem. I’ve since had to pay a lot to get my luggage and clothes clean, making it an expensive stay. I also didn’t sleep well for two nights due to the itchiness.
Arusha Backpackers is in a great location for the safari and kilimanjaro offices in the centre of town that you can book when you arrive. It is also walking distance from the supermarket and cash points. It has a bar on the roof which is great for chilling in after kili/safari. Rooms and bathrooms were clean, and water was hot!! Overall, a great place to stay for a budget traveller.

Great value
Warm water, clean, beautiful rooftop bar and decent location! All for very good rate
Very helpful and pleasant staff. Free breakfast was nice and internet on rooftop lounge was good. Rooms are a bit small and clostraphobic if you don't have a window but fan helps. We booked safari at hotel with Big 5 and it turned out well despite my reservations about all the persistant guys hawking tours outside the hostel. They are just trying to make a living. Staff also helped book our shuttle bus to Nairobi via Riverside which was a good ride.

Close to downtown a d bus stop
Enjoyed bar/restaurant, free breakfast and booked safari from here.
Staff was very nice and polite. Hostel close to roads so it was noisy and hard to sleep at night. Room was super cozy, had a hole in the wall and could use a paint job but overall clean. Internet spotty, usually no wifi during the day for the three days I was there but was always on at night and the majority of the mornings unless the power was out. For a price of 8$/day with a free breakfast it was a good deal. Not luxurious but got the job done.
Room was small as expected but cheap and comfortable. Downside was that it had a window facing inside which was just covered in mesh. There was no way to block it or close it so noises and light came through all night
