“Sehr solides, gepflegtes Hotel in zentraler Ortslage. Stift und alle anderen Sehenswürdigkeiten gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Der Ort ist auf Touristen sehr gut eingestellt, nicht nur gastronomisch, sondern auch mit vielen Informationen zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten. Gute Auskunft zum Stift Melk erhält man auch an der Rezeption im Hotel.”

“Great location in the heart of the Wachau. Accessible by public transport (715 bus from Krems or Melk and the Wachaubahn). Lots of great walks start from near the hotel, including the UNESCO walking trail throughout the Wachau. Great restaurant - and the wine is great. I can recommend the flammkuchen with their Pinot noir! ”

“Very good in general.
The lady at the front desk was extremely helpful with indications due to my late arrival and also where to park, provide me with refreshment drink.
Breakfast was modest. I pre-booked for two people, finally I went alone but they told me that I had to pay breakfast and taxes for two. I waited for 20 minutes during the checkout to receive any positive answer but I lost my time. Not flexible at all.”

“If you want a nice, peaceful, away from everything kind of place, then this is your stop. Up on top of the mountains, you have a fantastic view all around you. It is very quiet and you can sleep peacefully. The rooms are quite basic, no fridge, soap stuffs, but it is still a great lodge. The owners are very nice and amazing folks who will do what they can to make your stay pleasant. This was definitely a relaxing stay for me.”
